I got the soil recipe from rumpleforeskin on grass city, some people from here have told me that its bad but I'm not so sure if i believe them, rumple said he used it for years with little to no problems and he is a pretty highly respected grower on grass city so i don't really think he would...
You need a ph meter, ph test strips, or a pool ph testing kit, from what i have read i believe happy frog is a bit on the acidic side, your plants could have nutrients locked out and you would have no idea until the symptoms hit full bore.
