Your plants are quite a bit leggier than mine are. My internode spacing has always been close, probably the intense CFL I veg under. How long do you veg? I normally go 4 to 6 weeks, maybe longer if mainlining.
Is that all one plant? Under the Mars Hydro? Looks like an HPS in there. Also, quite a few of the lower leaves look withered and dead. I like to remove them and selectively prune for better airflow.
These 2 are a Samsara Holy Grail 69 and a Heavyweight seeds Budzilla. Budzilla didn't seem to stretch much . That 1 CFL is on a thermostat so if my lights on temps are below 70, that kicks on to help warm my cabinet. My RH is pretty low but it doesn't really seem to bother anything.
A humidifier? Just restrict airflow and the humidity will take care of itself. You won't use a humidifier when you're drying, that's counter productive. My RH is around 30% where I'm drying and I just keep a very small air current, a computer fan pulling air through a homemade carbon filter...
I am totally unexperienced with aquaponics and have only dabbled in aeroponics and hydro lightly when going through botany in college.
I guess my biggest concern with aquaponics is the health of the fish. I'll try lots of things in the pursuit of a better smoke but I don't feel right about...
You'd be better off using premeasured nutes in RO water. I can definitely appreciate what you're trying to do but I don't think the lengths you're willing to go to are necessary.
There is a product out there that is supposed to be plug and play mesical weed growing and they use an organic...
A plant can use sugars and starches to perform other plant processes. Simple sugar C6H12O6 is made in photosynthesis so simple sugar injectoin can be beneficial to a degree in some applications.
Injecting with THC to increase the THC? Just wipe your dab on the finished bud.
I have them both sharing a 7 gallon tote, fox farms ocean forest with added perlite and worm castings. Both mainlined and just starting to grow into the ScrOG screens.
The whole concept of air exchange, in my opinion, is based on incorrect information. As long as the temps aren't too high, I run my exhaust as low as possible and keep the circulation fan going balls out.
I don't have any grow journals or anything, it's all pretty standard and I didn't think there would be much interest in one of my grows.
I will be visiting a flower cabinet tomorrow and I'll snap a few pics. I veg under CFL in spacebuckets then move to the LED for flower. A holy grail 69 and a...
I havent run the skinny ones but if I'm tight on space, LED and the 4 inch lowpro. I don't think that the airflow is as important as circulation within the cabinet. My exhaust fans run super slow and the filter lasts way longer.
I run a galaxy hydro 300 that works well on 2 plants in an 18 x 24 cabinet. Currently setting up a 32x32 area that I'll use 2 more of the cheap LEDs on. One big advantage of the LED, for me anyways, is that I can really crank down the airflow through my cabinet and extend the usable life of the...
Around week 2 or 3 it seems to show up, I don't have any pics right now, it just hit me on the way to work this morning that consistently everything seemed to need a cal/mag supplement. Actually, I mix epsom salts with an iron supplement and water it in which takes care of any problems in about...
I have the Mars hydro 300 LED and it flowers 2 plants well. 3 would be pushing it's limits. If you veg a big plant, that light would be good for 1 plant in flower. I built a 24x18 cabinet, consistently run 2 photos under mine and flip when they're about 14 inches tall.
It seems that all of my plants that are under led, in flower, are showing signs of magnesium deficiency.
It is possible, although unlikely, that in ths batch of soil I forgot to put in any Epsom salt. This seems to be a consistent area of concern when using LEDs for me.
Not really a big deal as...
