depends on ur setup and the genetics but i played around with snapping branches on my current grow. They got way to tall and hit the lights. I snapped a few tops past 90 degrees and within 6 hours they healed!
It's very much like drinking craft beer compared to the cheapest bottle offered.
I'm generally just looking for taste and smell I don't really care a whole lot about the rest.

My take on it is ive never seen or smoked outdoor that has impressed me. Maybe the problem is there is so much bad or average stuff the good has never made it to me haha

What strain are you running? I ran into some lockout issues early-mid flower with my current grow and figured out it was due to not enough calmag being added.
There is a high end market that moves very fast. For example look into "gas leak" strains. Basically a branded bag of gray zone weed that is very high in demand at $200+ a oz.
Anything below high end seems to have dropped in price drastically though.
I'm not even saying gas leak is better than...
Might be different over in BC but ive been buying decent amounts of weed qp-1lb for 10 or so years around Ontario and never came by prices like that and got weed I'd consider "Quads"
$1800 cad for top shelf pretty well anywhere in Canada through the gray zone mail order sites.
and it can get pretty damn cheap like $800 a lb for decent indoor stuff id call mids
A pi is just a mini bare-bones computer, alot of people dont realize you can save even more money just running home assistant off your home computer. I have home assistant setup on my computer using virtual box.
