Mine usually pop in 3-4 days. Remove the dome, it can cause fungal growth......domes are for clones. I stick mine in a drawer.

I only use the glass beaker and the top........I don't use the plunger to squeeze out the oil.........I use a potato ricer for that.

It's pricey.......but so was the Ardent Fx and it just sits on my shelf.

I'm very happy with it. The only downside is you can only do 1/2 oz. at a time.......doesn't bother me though.

I wouldn't even touch, let alone smoke, the buds in the first pic........looks like major bud rot.

You don't have to wait for lights on to take a pic. Either turn on the lights for a second or use a flash.......it won't hurt anything.

I always rinse and buffer with calcium and magnesium regardless of the brand.

If it were bud rot the small leaves would turn yellow and die almost overnight, and would pull out easily.

I'm no expert at diagnosing plant problems but it appears to be a possible phosphorous deficiency.

It takes about 2 weeks of flower for the plant to start showing pistils and to start stretching.

Once the roots are well established....... Feed daily to substantial run off using a pH around 6.0. Never use plain water and never let the coco dry out.

They look pretty good to me. Sorry, but I can't help..........I have never grown in soil using dry amendments. Good luck.

Let it be........you don't have to start in smaller pots........it just makes it easier to maintain the proper moisture level for fast growth. Just don't treat your coco like soil. Good luck.
