Yes kelvin. I recommend just hanging out on here a bit a reading posts. There are many camps, some love CFL. some HID, others LED. CFL is good way to start. I'm vegging a couple plants under a some 6500 CFL's right now but will flower under a 250w MH HID.

That stretch is because it is looking for more light. Good thing you got more. 6400K Full Spectrum Daylight would be more optimal for veg. though. Good luck!

Hi BJammin, tell us more about your lights. What do you have in real watts, temperature measured in K, number of bulbs, and grow space size for starters?
