Seedling HELP (Flood & Drain Hydroton)

Rapid rooters are the shits for F&D hydro. They hold water too long and they make a mess in the res. Go with rock wool for F&D hydro. 2"x 2"x h" pieces.

    Thought I did everything right

Flushing through the root system is hopeless. I do an after the chop harvest flush by allowing the plants to suck up RO water for like 24 hours...same as a flower in a vase. I find that each snip will average .5 litres of RO water during this final flush process. The fact is I feel better in...

    Are they ready to harvest?

Something about this tells me this isn't your plant. This plant needs weeks and is no where near being finished.

The smaller are most likely female. Males are usually more dominant and robust. What kind of lighting are they getting?

Me and My Girls need Help!

A PH swing between 5.5 and/to 6.3 are maximum outside ranges for hydro. 5.8PH for hydro. It is better to swap out the res every 5-7 days than to re-PH and add more fertilizer.

Me and My Girls need Help!

Rust spots can be caused by a parasite and may be serious. I would, if practical remove all effected leaves. If you finish this grow sterilize the grow-op before proceding and get rid of any infected plants.

Increasing Cannabis' Effects Through Enzyme Inhibition -Easy, get more from your meds

It sounds more like a disease or an underlying infection causing toxic(septic) build up in the blood(chemical imbalance). It's not the weed. It's the going without sleep and not eating reducing the bodies ability to fight off this unknown infliction. I would take the victim regularly to a public...

    May be a dumb question??

I run a 1kw hps in an 8'x 8'x 8' room and I have no problem keeping it cool. I use a focused bonnet(without protective glass) which focuses the foot print at about 20 square feet suspended at about 44" from glass(bulb) to medium and the table is about 20 inches from the floor to the top of the...

    plant problems please help

I would just stay the course this time and next time heat sterilize the medium or let it compost out before you plant. When I did soil during the eighties I had a big concrete slab that I'd spread the soil out over, 1/4"-1/2" deep and let the sun burn the crap out of it, etc then I'd use it...

    plant problems please help

It's obviously responding to the light well and I don't see any signs of lockout. How are you monitoring your watering? By the looks of the tips of some of the leaves you got fermentation/composting going on in the medium. Judging by the extreme curls in some of the smaller leaves increasing...

    What to start seedlings in?

I find that when using rock wool it is best to use smaller pieces, no larger than 2"x 2"x h". I like the soil method displayed earlier as it is perfect for non-medium grows. I prefer Stimroot #2 powder with constantly good results. Some of the hybrids will actually root in a cup of plain water.

Who here has had cloning problems?

IMO the closer the strain is to all natural(not engineered) the harder it will be to clone.

1st post & 1st time growing: Few questions for you guys

Something like a big old refrigerator(gutted and vented) with a lock on the door would do better. To avoid heat problems 4' florescent tubes are best. I would stagger daylight tubes with soft white tubes, mounted vertically and some two foot tubes on top mounted horizontally. These types of...
