Any Seedling Advice For New Grower?

The post above is when the soil settles by watering with the plant in the plant pot the lower fan leaves will be damaged by coming in contact with the plant pot. Nobody said anything about packing the soil down.

Any Seedling Advice For New Grower?

Disturbed soil settles dramatically when water is applied to it. Fill the plant pots, soak with water, fill again with soil etc to the rim of the plant pot. After the soil is settled appropriately and the soil in the plant pot has reached the desired dampness/dryness toss your plant(s) into it...

Any Seedling Advice For New Grower?

Plants have been growing in soil ever since there was soil. But before soil, plants lived in rocks. I can't be sure but I "think" a 150 watt HID would put out more than the light you chose.

Discussion on cloning systems/methods - perpetual grow help

When I get too many rooted clones before it's time to go in I've got a trough made from 1"x4" board lined with plastic that runs to waste. I use a minimal amount of gravel for suspension and they get fed by me with the pump up sprayer. I keep them down lower in the room with the moms and of...

Discussion on cloning systems/methods - perpetual grow help

ASAP new seedlings and clones get a piece of reflective plastic(5-6" sq) placed at their base. Start seedling(s) under 12/12 1kw hps at about 44" from glass to gravel. FIMM for the mom.

Discussion on cloning systems/methods - perpetual grow help

All the clones that are placed in the bin root. I use Stimroot #2 powder. I've noticed they sell it at Lowes. You need a pump up sprayer for gardening. I stopped using the hard rockwool and now using the soft rock wool that can be gotten from a lumberyard and it is sold by the bail. One of...

Discussion on cloning systems/methods - perpetual grow help

Every two weeks I get not quite a qp from five snips. I pull them and plant them while the table is flooded. I find that when pulling them I give them short little tugs while the table is flooded and I'll get most of the roots. If I can't get it all done on one cycle I'll get it done on the...

The leaves are drooping!!!! please help!!

The cool part about the cars today is they build the wiper pump right into the wiper res and it all comes out with one small bolt. Once the thing is cleaned up it would be ideal for when you can't be there. I'll bet you that I can go down to the junkyard and Bill would give me the right one for...

Discussion on cloning systems/methods - perpetual grow help

#2 I place a standard dual 4' fixture using cool white tubes on the ceiling and place a shelf under it large enough to pin a clear plastic garbage bag using thumb tacks. I run two wires up to the ceiling from the front corners of the shelf. I use these wires to support the front/opening of the...

To answer the first question, I run 25 clones in a 3'x3' table, planted two weeks apart and planted when rooted, no veg time.

The leaves are drooping!!!! please help!!

Everyone knows that one good seed can produce an untold amount of good bud. If you're not sure of what you're doing maybe you should do one seed at a time until you get it down. If you can't get there in time to water the plant(s) maybe you should "think" about a timed drip system or something...

    Rodelization? Bananas? After Harvest?

Didn't you have room to keep a snip? Two standard 32-34 watt 4' daylight tubes can hold a clone for up to three months. Or, I hate to say this, 80 watts of CFL's...always raising the light(s) and burns are always setbacks.

What method to stress a plant to produce seeds (without the use of Colloidial silver)

The reality is there is no way to stress a bonafide female mj plant into producing male parts. She will however over a period of time produce a seed which will be female, about two seeds on average every five years.

    Light question for seedlings.

When I put clones/seedlings under the HID I cut a 5-6" square piece of reflective plastic with a slit to the middle and an appropriate size hole in the center of the plastic and is placed at the base of the clone/seedling ASAP. This not only helps to keep the area around the base of the new...
