yea, i try to touch my bud as little as possible. the more you touch it...the less THC there is on the buds and it falls off, and/or gets stuck to your fingers. i know a guy who doesnt even touch his weed to pack it in a bowl. he scoops it in with a baby spoon.

you dont have to throw away moldy bud. just dont smoke it regularly and dont make cannabutter with it. make quick wash iso hash. the alcohol wash will kill off the mold and then you dont have to waste bud by throwing it out. i ended up with a huge amount of moldy bud after i mucked up my drying...

i dunno what to tell ya hun...if you have the extra cash you might as well get a buddy to look after them til harvest...would they be able to either get the bud to you, or get money to you for the bud? otherwise you could always chop a little early and cure for longer, that will help the trichs...
