    Let's talk serious SCROG

Well its that time again, I'm in the market for a new ec/ppm meter, last one finally ate it (the color was rubbed off most of it from occasional handling). Does anyone know if I can get by with like, a 15 dollar ppm reader from a pool and spa store? if it wasn't an emergency I would just wait...

Excellent, thank you for that. I'm doing a bit of information compiling and could not remember the name of that process to save my life!

Hey legally, whats the name of the process that makes the plant decide what is the main stalk? you mentioned it before (and honestly I should know it) but I can't find the post.

I don't disagree that the inline duct fans are junk but for that setup its a cheap way to go, I would also suggest using a can fan of some sort, small would be fine for that setup but if you ever plan to expand, a 6in 400+ cfm would do nicely.

My suggestion is to use inline duct fans (about 15 bucks a piece at Lowe's) in the place on your little cage fans and run some reflective ducting up and over the side of the box, then you can hang a blanket over and still get circulation as the hoses will be extended out but down, not exposing...

One man and his bush - 1 plant SCROG in Stealth Cab - Chocolate Berry

Thanks for all the pics, I love having multiple angles to really see whats going on. How long do you need to be away from your setup? If you start working with a timed drip feeder now you can get it to a point it will last you a week or 2. Clones can do quite well in an aero cloner for weeks...

I agree with legally, didn't realize the 600 was hps, mh is the only way to veg. I would use floros over hps any day.

With traditional scrog vs your "upside down scrog", everything below the screen will be light starved, its easier to just top your tallest branches and remove skinny underbrush, this way all your dense growth is above the screen and only "feeder stalks" beneath the screen, I may even try your...

If you can manage the heat veg with the 600, it will be hot, that would be my only concern.

Legally is actually right, the bottom branches were holding them back and would have never gotten above the screen, trimmed out most of the brush after i took those pics, will post new ones of the cleaned up "undercarriage"

Got both ladies in sceens finally, started the one on the left about a week ago and just got the second frame built over this weekend. one is plastic shelving the other is a wooden frame, but both will work just fine, preferring the wooden frame as i can put more weight on it.

Proposed Grow: 3 Generation Violator Kush Ebb & Flow Grow

I have heard good things about hydrogen peroxide from other sources, never needed to use it as my water source gets almost no light ever but I will definetly remember that. Now, your using 6ml of 29% per gal, and you said every 4 days, does that mean you are adding that 1 gallon to the res...

Here's how I deal with fan leaves, this is not what everyone does but it works for me; As soon as you canopy is full, trim back most of the fan leaves under the canopy leaving a few is fine, they will just act as a "nitrogen battery" when you change to flowering nutes. fan leaves on the top of...

Your not the only person I have heard of having herms from bushmaster and similar products. Bushmaster and Gravity have some pretty heavy chemicals that a lot of hybrids don't get along with well, I would go without it if you can afford the room but you already know that based on what happened...

The 3 inch rule is negotiable, if you can push them under enough for them to turn back toward the light in the next hole over you can do it. I would hold off on trimming the lower branches, if they don't seem to be growing up, sure, chop 'em but some lower branches can stretch and give you...

Proposed Grow: 3 Generation Violator Kush Ebb & Flow Grow

Looking super nice! Like you said, very clean setup. Don't worry much about the clones not growing quickly, I'm having the same issue, they like to establish a massive root system before they put any energy into vegetation. My cure is to lower the humidity, not use a dome or anything and...
