Help with moving from indoor to outdoor

I'd honestly look into investing into a 1000w metal halide/hps combination. A single one a few hours a day, for a month or two, won't drive up your electric too much and will let you start a month or two earlier in the year depending on your climate. Message me a bit about your climate zone and...

Help with moving from indoor to outdoor

If your area is above 14 hours of light daily you will be fine, but I like using supplemental light in a greenhouse to extend to 18-20h of light daily.

Why do some people trim before harvest?

Look up Senescence in horticulture, cannabis specific if you fancy that more, its an interesting topic that should answer your question.

    Greenhouses

Green shades on a greenhouse covering limits some intensity from the sun, allowing seedlings and other plants with lower DLI needs to not bake. It is green because plants use green wavelengths the least, but it still cuts down on exposure. If the greenhouse is for cannabis or other high DLI...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

I'm trying to mimic a 4ft t5 2 bulb coverage for in a 2x4 area. Around 250-300 umol/m2/s should be more than adequate. Trying to be as frugal as I can while building something quality. Been debating even doing strips. Trying to grow microgreen trays, four 10x20 trays per tier, on a shelving...

    44x22 inch strip coverage?

I was looking over the bridgelex 4000k 4 ft. I'm kind of torn by thinking 2 of them could mimic the spread of a 2 bulb t5. But I might have to go with 3 to get the evenness of coverage. If I could mimic a 4ft 2 bulb t5 that would actually be optimal as I could just calculate the DLI and dim or...

    44x22 inch strip coverage?

Well, I wonder if one or two samsung f series strips would be required to evenly cover each 10/20 tray. And at what wattage I'd even be dealing with, how low of an amperage I'd need to run. Or to go 4000/5000k for microgreens. I've got so much to research again. Yay.

    44x22 inch strip coverage?

Looking into possibly getting a small microgreen garden set up in my basement. Nothing to elaborate, a couple of 2x4 tables basically set on a multi-rack setup. I need to get around 250-350 umol/m2 pretty evenly. And need a bit of help determining how to cover a 22x44 inch space very evenly...

But changes the heatsinks I'll give it a couple of days thought. It's only a flowering tent for personal. And I was probably going to throw some other mono diodes and if in at some point. And just veg with a 315 cmh.

    16x clu048 1212 driver/coverage

I am going back an forth on which driver to use. Hlg-480h-36a vs hlg-600h-36a. I'm feeling like I won't need much more than 500 watts from the wall, but hitting around 610-615 watts from the wall might push canopy penetration a bit harder.

    16x clu048 1212 driver/coverage

https://www.heatsinkusa.com/2-079-low-stock-please-call/ I was thinking about those heatsinks at 42" lengths, 7" spacing on center, and connecting them all onto 42" lengths of 20/20 t-slot profile. I'd probably run them on solderless holders and use thermal pads, but I wasn't sure if I ran...

    16x clu048 1212 driver/coverage

I was trying to run them around 600-700 ma to try and reach up to that 3.0 umol/j mark but I might be better off with strips. Depends on the deal I can get with the clu048-1212 chips. I just like the 3000k 90cri spectrum they have. Was going to put 2 cobs per square foot. Might take a bit more...
