Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

What is up Rollitupers! Little update at day 96. The plants have fattened up a bit though the buds still have a fluffy/wispy aspect. However the smell is now pretty strong and absolutely delicious. It's an interesting mix of mint/eucalyptus and Cherry/grape. Very unusual combination... The...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

What's up growers! Here are the latest pictures of the Rasol Landrace plants. At day 82 into their flowering cycle, the buds are starting to bulk up a bit, though they are very wispy. The smell is not very pungent but it is delicious! I've got 2 different phenos: One with a fruity/minty smell...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

@Oldschooldude Thank, I am glad you like this journal. Some Sativas take a long time to flower and mature and that puts off many growers. However they offer a greater diversity of terp profiles and effects!! Impressive! I've never grown the Mazar but I have grown a cultivar that comes from the...

    First Perpetual grow questions.

What you are saying makes sense. Not everybody is willing to pay more for something better but I'm sure that many cannabis connoisseurs would rather buy their buds from a real craft grower like yourself!

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

Hello, Here are a couple of pictures of the Rasol plants 74 days into their flowering cycle. Now that they are starting to get frosty, the smell is changing.. they buds still smell like eucalyptus and mint but now there's also a sweet vanilla smell in the mix. Cheers, :peace:

    First Perpetual grow questions.

Yes most definitely!! I agree with that model. I just hope that when these big guys start selling their pot at $3 per gram, people will still be willing to pay $10 per gram for some high quality organic weed produced by a craft grower (Even if that $10 craft weed is really worth 20). Kudos to...

    First Perpetual grow questions.

Hello @botanybandit Thank you for sharing with us! It looks like you want to take it to the next level and do it like a pro, I'm really exited for you.:bigjoint: Why were you vegging in 24/0? When you go above 18/6, there is usually no difference, it is often a waste of power. Are you running...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

@JohnDee Hello John! Thank you man I really appreciate it. ;-) Golder Tiger sounds like a winner. Crossing 2 pure sativas from a completely different geographical area to create a pure Sativa/NLD F1, that is cool. I have a lot of respect for the work that the team at ACE is doing.:clap...

    New Bud Growth Week 9???

@jHands Hey man! Your plants look good and they are still very dense. The fact that you have a little bit of foxtailling going on can be caused by 2 things. 1) Genetics: some strains always devellop foxtail buds at the end of their flowering cycle. 2) heat stress: When the temps are...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

@JohnDee Yes, there is no guaranty when it comes to guerilla growing, it's hard work and you may end up with nothing. Yet at the same time, the insvestment is minimal and you can harvest a lot so there's always a trade-off :bigjoint: Sorry but which strain does GT stand for? I'm looking forward...

Adding cmh to an already 4/1000w hps grow room

I run my lamps from 11pm to 11am. If you're in 12/12 all the time, I think it's the coldest period as a house traps heat and it takes a few hours before the temps start going down. A light mover would definitely help you manage the heat. Right on, It's awesome to mix the spectrum. Best, Al

Adding cmh to an already 4/1000w hps grow room

Hi @Dividedsky You seem to have a very professional setup, I like that  If your A/C can handle 4- 1000w HPS lamps, adding that 630w CMH should be okay. Do you run your lamps at night? If not, this would hep lower the temps by 6 or 7F at least. Also, using a light-mover can help spread...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

@JohnDee Hi John! Usually when plants don't herm indoors, then you know that they are sexually stable as indoor cultivation stresses the plants way more than when you grow outdoors. It's frustrating to live in a place where the weather is good but without enough space to grow outdoors...

    Early flowering tips

@Jyasi Hello Jyasi! For a newbie grower, your plants are looking great! To get to most out of your plants, do not defoliate! Leaves are like solar pannels, the plants need them. Unless a big fan leaves is blocking a lot of light and there's a lot of bud sites under, no need to worry about it...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

Hey there @Blakey and @Mellow old School , thank you for your interest guys!! @xtsho Very interesting strains! The Kerala is going to stretch like crazy!! It is a tropical Sativa with a very longflowering time. But the end product should be well worth the effort.. The Nanda Devi is very...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

@JohnDee Hey John! Growing some colombian Sativa behind a trailer right before a Bob Marley Concert... Wow!! It's not something you can forget :eyesmoke: I wish I had been there, lol. My favorite landraces are the fast flowering sativas like the Moroccan Beldia, the Kazakh or some Himalayan hash...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

Hello fellow gardeners  At day 20, the Rasol plants are now stretching a whole lot. I have topped them off of and pinched them several times to help minimize that crazy stretch.. The plants are starting to show sex.. For now I've had 12 males and 1 hermie. I'll keep the males to collect...
