You see with Coco in general (im not familiar with Canna) but raw Coco is 0-0-0.....so a little nitrogen kick wouldnt be the worst thing to happen.....also with Coco, it likes to retain water when its properly watered, you go three days w/o water and the nutes u add will runoff the side of the...
well thats a hassle lol....the cotyledons will be looking for light, no matter how they get it.....im kinda drunk/high right now, but i would take a BLACK strip of garbage bag/anything....cover the roots, but expose the cotyledons to a minimal light source, maybe even in a dresser drawer....but...
i dont know if im going to get crucified for this or not....lose the botanicare.....go get urself "Nectar for the Gods".......get the advanced items, but also get bloom khaos and tritons trawl, use accordingly and u can thank me later lol
first grow? no help? Bravo my friend, u really pulled that off nicely.....IMO, not a fan of ocean forest, runs a lil hot to my liking....i always try to use my own organic mix or Happy Frog.....dont let those two look like pistils fool you either, unless they're from feminized seed, those could...
i have read n experienced that u can take mature male pollen pods...capture the pollen...n then put it ur freezer and pollinate a female branch (quarantined from the other girls of course) but this dude was whacky.....nit sure if i would risk the chance of contaminating the whole crop
looks decent to me for a sprout...what kinda soil r u running there? tapwater isnt terrible as long as you let it sit out for about a day or so....depending on where u live pH should be a solid 7.0......throw a light fan in there and let those stems bulk up and let em do their thing....i take it...
i agree with Mr. Gangja, plz tell me u didnt use Miracle-Gro, bc it looks like the organic miracle grow shit.....use Happy Frog or Foxfarm or even Nectar #4 and they will thrive under the right light.....what kinda light/ventilation/feed u plan on using??
you could always drill holes in the bottom of the pot for drainage.....but yeah 1/4 to 1/2 inch......i would stray away from nutes this early, but u r using coco so, go easy on it but u might be ok....just my two cents...good luck
and to answer ur question bro, they are 90w UFO LED's, and they runn about 150 USD apiece, but they make up for it bc they have no heat signature and they use around 75% less electricity then any HID light...........they equal a 400w MH system, or so i have been told
i ran the same exact lights on one of my haze gardens.....personally i think u need two to one plant but strain pending i could be wrong. And the side panel LED's really dont do anything unless u put it under the plant and the lower branches and bud sites will get atleast some minor light...
you def need more light, and u guessed it...a much bigger box....those little fuckers are going to explode up, and i hope ur prepared to be messing with ur CFL's, like everyday bc u need to keep raising them. Im going to suggest to you LED's. YES I KNOW THEY DONT SELL THEM AT WALMART!!!.....i...
no.....u go online, maybe ebay and grab some simple 90 watt UFO LED with all spectrums, no ballast required, no installation just plug and play....most LED GROW lights will have all the spectrums, some more intense than others, but still great for the novice....but for what he is trying to do, i...
what is with all the CFL grows.....ok if u use a LED lamp it uses around 80% of the electricity of HID, and about what.....maybe 40& for CFL's....and it gives off no heat signature....LED in a small grow is just a no-brainer....But if u HAVE to use CFL's, use a alot and use that fan for cooling...
u know what would be sweet, if u put a wall in the middle, one for flower and one side for veg, and just attached stained board with like a piano hinge, so it would open from the top........ganster lol, good luck tho, looks much better
yeah looks solid, just watch that "ball", might just be new growth that hasnt or isnt growing, but if they multiply, like one on top of the other, trash it u got a male, or a hermie, either way u dont want it, but just stay vigilant :-P
