Multichip LED, Remote Phosphor - Guess who it is.

Sry guys, my brother is getting married and things are little hectic. I lent my camera for the event so I don't even have it right now. :( I'd like to take some shots before leaving, but it's going to have to wait until I get back, I took some photos with my laptop and phone and they are...

Light gets in, it's clear all over. I was going to "paint" it with PlastiDip but decided to see how it goes.

Triple post too stronk. Idc! I didnt change the White Balance for this photo just because I wanted you to get an idea of what CCT the 100W RP spotlight gives off. That's a bit warmer than what I actually see, but a LOT closer to these next few photos. Anyway, that's Misty Trois. Hopefully she...

"Here we go again!"... Can't remember what song that's from, but it was pretty epic. Definitely a compliment. :3

What led is best value for small grow

I can't find it. I either get a bunch of UFO's, or LED drivers that are meant to power 50W COB's which have a much higher current rating and lower voltage. If you guys can find them mind sharing a link?

What kind of light mj 'likes ' ? Decoded from it's reflectance ....

http://www.myspace.com/temporalphotonics/photos/17614208#%7B%22ImageId%22%3A17614183%7D Pretty interesting, imo. That PDF on LED's in greenhouses began to touch on the topic of artificial darkness and photoperiodism, but didn't get very far into the subject from what I could tell.

fun with smd led strips (5630 and 5050) - in preparation for the 'bucket of light'

How 'bout a "Trash Can of Light." https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=92259 You could do that with LED strips I'd think. Edit: That's what he pulled out!

Multichip LED, Remote Phosphor - Guess who it is.

If anyone's interested I found an LED flood light vendor who sells JUST the fixture; no COB light, no driver, and not too expensive, either. Three fixtures per lot. http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/flood-light-30w-kit-led-flood-light-advertising/14374215-160063269.html...

LEDs Stripping Back the BS. Vegging 6 Clones under 22 Watts

Turn: Into: Mount onto small Aluminum heat sink from China with thermal adhesive or whatever. Wire Cree driver to PCB. Find a way to hang that thing.

What's the interest in growing with retail store LED bulbs?

Have you seen this? That's only veg. Dunno about flower. The "big deal" is efficiency, though. If you don't care then yeah, fluoro's still work. You could also just buy your CFL's and then supplement them with ~10W of DIY 660nm+630nm.

What's the interest in growing with retail store LED bulbs?

http://ledmuseum.candlepower.us/led/spectra7.htm One might argue CFL's have a better spectral output than, say, Warm White LED's that can be bought from Home Depot, or elsewhere. I think people use LED bulbs because they are easily obtained for relatively cheap, highly efficient, are easy to...

Multichip LED, Remote Phosphor - Guess who it is.

Lol. Fuck you man. I wanted it to be abundantly clear as to what was part of the FIM'ed branch and what wasn't! Thanks, though, it definitely is starting to look like an actual grow. :eyesmoke: I think I'll just lay off the LST from here on out. I want the branches to grow vertically to make...

The nutes helped with the new growth, the transplant is recent so not much time for Kid to acclimate. The tomatoes look a little larger than last batch. First shot is the RP spotlight only. Second shot is all lights on with the same White Balance as the first. FIM region. To get a better...

LED light that can yeild 200-300 grams

It's hard to determine. Most people aim for ~1gpw. You should be thinking in this range, imo. 200-300 grams = 200-300Watts. Area51 is spoken of very well around here. What brand you get depends on your budget, really.

    Plants and Circadian Rythms.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure why it isn't discussed more. Although I haven't researched the martian method a lot I've yet to hear any negative comments directed at it. It's also known as "Photosynthetic Artificial Darkness," or PAD.

    Plants and Circadian Rythms.

Light suppresses the production of melatonin. "In animals, circulating levels of the hormone melatonin vary in a daily cycle, thereby allowing the entrainment of the circadian rhythms of several biological functions." That's about as far as my understanding extends with light levels affecting...

    LED spectrums?????

If you're building your own panel perhaps read up on the subject. If you're buying a panel perhaps read up on which brands are best, or take a look at some grows. A quality panel can both veg and flower with no guesswork.
