It is a hell of a deal! I paid $588 for 4 boards shipped from cobkits.com so at retail that would be $175 per board with a heatsink. Hmmm.... I've got an extra DIY 650R copy on a 600R heatsink. Maybe I'll have the heatsink cut in half to give me two, almost square heatsinks that will mount...

These drivers are capable of slightly more than rating, but expecting 315 watts from one is not reasonable. They will often be in the 10-30 watts over range. That's still more than rating! if you need 300+ watts go to a 320H-C2100.

This guide is a "it depends" scale. If you put 512 watts of Diablos in a 4x4 you better be running CO2 or dial them down! I run my DIY 650R copy at 320 watts ( 360 actual from the wall ) and get good results. I'll probably up it to a 480H and dimm it to around 400-420 watts then measure PPF. We...

You could probably do a 4x4 if you scrogged the plant/s and ran it close, but I'd say a 3x3 in flower with 4 QB 288. Personally, I'd spring for another 240H and run a pair on each. That would definitely flower a 4x4

that's a great driver for the QB 288. 60 watts per board will make a nice, low per light!
