    2'x4' 600w DWC Tent - Spring 2011 Grow

If you scroll over the images you can see the file names - all my plant file names include the date. The first photo, when they were still in individual mini hempies, was on 7th January, the last photo was on 26th Feb. The dates in the file name are in reverse order ie: yymmdd, that way when I...

Best way to know exactly when to collect pollen is to closely watch a pollen sac as it matures. It will swell and turn yellowish just before it opens and drops the pollen, if you watch one go all the way and open you will know what it looks like just before it opens ... that is when you collect...

    Indoor LED Grow 2011

Nice looking bushy girlz you got there. It's good to see that I'm not the only one that grows a million colas on a plant ... but then again that is the LED way to grow.

I'm officially impressed. 60 hours and 5 minutes after discovering the faulty light and I have the replacement light in my hands. In 2 hours when my flowering chamber fires up, I will install the new light and set up the faulty light as a red booster.

Light leaking out of your tent is no problem except for any security issues, as long as the shed is dark and light cannot leak into the tent and shine on your plants during the lights-off time.

    Male or Female??? Please awnser

Nope, a male produces pollen which makes seeds on the female plants.

The last photo is most definitely male.

Thanks for asking but the floods came no where near me, and as I rarely leave the suburb where I live I wasn't even slightly inconvenienced. In fact if it wasn't for the TV I wouldn't have known about it (j/k). It's a real pity that we live in a world full of paranoia, it would be great to be...

Tell the person who offered you the clone that they are being totally unreasonable and then offer them $10.00 which is more like it. Sheesh, if I could get $80.00 a clone I would go into mass production and retire, in fact if I could sell bulk clones at $10.00 a piece I would start making some...

Here is the Magic Bud ScrOG with 4 or so weeks still to go, and I forgot to take a top-down photo ... :wall: She's looking nice with lots of trichomes, but I was thinking she was looking a bit leafy until I had a look at the breeders photo The next ScrOG will be Barneys Farm...

I like (love) sativa dominated strains, but maybe I'll line up Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk for a bit of couchy comfort. I've got half a dozen strains from Greenhouse Seeds - but haven't managed to germinate any of the last 3 GHS seeds I tried - those fuckin 'orrible colour coated crap seeds...

I might photograph it again tonight as it's been a week since I last showed it. I'm looking forward to how the L.S.D. ScrOG develops, after pruning away half of the tips I still have 3 dozen strong shoots/branches. As the ScrOG following that one is also L.S.D. I might limit that one to 2...

Hi from another soggy southeast Queenslander, it's probably best to stick to this thread for any info you need - otherwise you get all sorts of useless advice to buy what we can't buy or to shop where we can't shop. It is strange how the yanks seem to assume that the world ends at their...

I've read about a few problems with the lights as well - hopefully they have decent customer service, but it doesn't bode well for the lights having a long lifespan, bloody expensive if they don't have any durability. The thing is, bad publicity will kill the product ... and these days we have...

Slight "bump-in-the-road" ... I'm just about to put my next ScrOG on 12/12 under a magenta light and one of my Magenta lights has crapped itself. It has become a RED only light which could be fine if I wanted a "half strength" flowering booster light. Until a replacement light is supplied by...

I use three parts perlite to one part vermiculite. Vegging is half strength thrive and flowering is 1/4 str thrive with 1/2 str Manutec Bloom Booster (or some such cheap stuff). I'll see how happy I am with these el-cheapo nutes before deciding whether to spend on "better" nutes. I'm loving the...

My Quadruple Thunder Red Dragon grow off!

Maybe it is just the way that RD grows, my buds were very light but super crystally and deadly to smoke. I have a mother carrying Red Dragon (and LSD) and will definitely be growing it again, I also made some feminised seeds of RD in case I lose the mother.

When a plant is growing, the main growing point (the leader) sends chemical messages down the plant letting all the smaller dudes know he's boss ... keeps the young-uns in line. By crushing the stem the chemical message from the boss dude gets interrupted and the young-uns start fighting to be...
