I might photograph it again tonight as it's been a week since I last showed it.

I'm looking forward to how the L.S.D. ScrOG develops, after pruning away half of the tips I still have 3 dozen strong shoots/branches.
As the ScrOG following that one is also L.S.D. I might limit that one to 2 dozen branches and compare the yields.
... and finally, after the second L.S.D. is underway it is time for the Tangerine Dream.

Soon be time to start deciding what comes after the Tangerine Dream

Good thinking Grumpy, thats a good variable to test against, should be interesting to know, then you'll know exactly how much veg time you need for that particular yeild result you want to achieve, i read somewhere in someones thread that with their particular strain, he figured out that two weeks of veg from a rooted clone produced his best desired results, he did this in a very controlled grow, same every thing timed it perfectly to have a clone with 1m 2wks veg, a 1m veg, a 2wk veg and a 0 veg, the 2wk veg'd one had the juciest frostiest heads, he compared the others with varying results and chose the 2 weeker....was an interesting read.

.....ahhhh the decisions in picking a strain.....leave that one to you, (what do you need/want, a good daytime smoke....gotta sleep now smoke,, fark im hungary smoke....tis endless i love it!)

I like (love) sativa dominated strains, but maybe I'll line up Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk for a bit of couchy comfort.

I've got half a dozen strains from Greenhouse Seeds - but haven't managed to germinate any of the last 3 GHS seeds I tried - those fuckin 'orrible colour coated crap seeds and probably old stock as well ... we live'n'learn.

So, it will either be Pineapple Chunk or Acapulco Gold I think ... whichever one I choose, the other one will be the one that follows.

After those 2 strains are grown I should have a 5-strain multi-grafted mother plant and then if I never germinate a single GHS seed I will still be happy.

Harvesting one of 5 strains every 5 or 6 weeks sounds mighty fine to me.

Here is the Magic Bud ScrOG with 4 or so weeks still to go, and I forgot to take a top-down photo ...

She's looking nice with lots of trichomes, but I was thinking she was looking a bit leafy until I had a look at the breeders photo






The next ScrOG will be Barneys Farm L.S.D. and here it is after the 50% branch removal and a major defoliation.



I'll have to wait for the replacement light before I put it into flowering, but that should be fine as she needs a few more days vegging. The defoliation & pruning slowed her down plenty.

And finally, the first "baby photos" of my 2 Tangerine Dreams.

The big one is about 2 days older than the other and she is a beast, the other is probably going to be eventually tossed once I see how the beast responds to my manipulations.




Because the beast is such a vigorous plant, I will use her as the stock for my next multi-grafted mother.
She's already been topped and is growing 4 branches, these will all be removed for clones then I'll graft on L.S.D. and Red Dragon ... making a three strain mother to replace my 2 strain mother.
All three strains are Barney's Farm strains and once I add Pineapple Chunk and Acapulco Gold, I'll have my 5 strain Barney's mother

Your grafting is dam cool.

Nice update Grumpy, starting to trich up nicely and those calyxe's will most definatley start swelling....mmmmmm i can see them now reaching for ya pluck them and smoke em up'

The LSD grow is coming along quite well also, nice colouring coming from the photo!

I do see that you like (love) your sativa's....personally i would love to see an Acapulco Gold grow done by you. that is one strain i want to have a seed of (or many if i can)

I'm officially impressed.

60 hours and 5 minutes after discovering the faulty light and I have the replacement light in my hands.

In 2 hours when my flowering chamber fires up, I will install the new light and set up the faulty light as a red booster.

Hey man watching your LED grow hoping to do one of my own if i can see some success and hopefully some prices going down. Sorry to hear about your light but think about it :] if its something simple like a wire or circuit thats loose then you or someone who knows anything about curcits could fix it and wallah! Dos luces! Which of course means more bigger buds.
Or just a booster anyway keep it up!

Well my Magic Bud is chugging along nicely. It's at about 5 weeks of 12/12 out of an advertised 7 to 8 week flowering period.

Probably be taking her to at least 8 weeks, maybe more.

The next couple of pikkies are my L.S.D. clone that was hit with Colloidal Silver.

The thing has stretched from less than 4 inches to 12 inches in 2 weeks as it has been developing balls, if my L.S.D. ScrOG stretches that much I will be in for an interesting grow.

Not a problem with the screen size at all, in fact I find the small screen (and thick wire) perfect for my style of ScrOG as the screen is perfectly rigid and will not be deformed by the plant.

The reason that I use a 1 inch screen?
It was laying around just waiting for the time that it would come in handy for something ... message to ex-wife ... SEE, things do come in handy if you hoard them for long enough.

I may as well send another message to my ex-wife ... GO FUCK YOURSELF
