Look at my thread from yesterday. Had to murder my biggest plant for making a move on my girls. Fuck that. You can look at the pic I posted and see if you are there yet. Normally, If I suspect a larger one to be a male, it is a male. Fucking sucks.

During Wisconsin summers it storms hardcore. Had a front move through last night with 30+ mph winds. My girls LOVE it! Why? They love that rain and branch stimulation from the wind. Helps with the stretch and gets those newer branches to toughen up. The only thing I don't like is when it rains 6...

Why delay? If you don't have pistils yet, that means you have stretch to go through still. Your plants can almost double during stretch outdoors.

It's all good. Felt good murdering that boy going after my girls! Opened up a ton of sun on the ladies, and stretch room too. Pistils confirmed on 3, and 2 remaining need to mature a minute more. Now I can just focus on keeping these ladies happy and fed.

Just to give a report from Wisconsin as sunlight begins to change more and more. Current stretch of 3 weeks of perfect growing weather. Full days of sun with temps in the 80s. Rain has been at night, but not too much. Actually got dry in July. Today we are at 14 hr. 13 min. Sunlight time...

Look at my just posted pics to get a real good look at male vs female. You can see what a first pistils "may" look like early on and what a male crab claw looks like early on. Can't see any sign on your girls yet.

So I am starting to do the sex checking, and I am thinking I only have one male maturing (biggest plant, of course), and multiple females maturing. The remaining 3 are not there yet. Here is my validation, although still early. The suspected male: One of 3 possible females:

I suspect my largest is a male. The remaining 6 I believe are female. Will certainly have confirmation in the next 10 days, with the way sunlight hours are dropping now.

Looks really healthy, actually. Just keep an eye on the larger fan leaves, but we are into August tomorrow, so maybe sun is lessening in that spot? I wouldn't over think it. If it becomes problematic, time to be proactive.
