As far as damaging a preflower, I would not be too concerned about it. That is a sign of maturity, and has nothing really to do with how the flowering/bud stacking starts. I have a plant that went through multiple traumatic events and she is exploding with buds now.

Winter never waits for us in this state. I know you wanted a couple more weeks. I'm sure your yield and potency will still he bomb though. I loved following your grow this summer, neighbor.

First real frost here overnight. Probably got to 33°-31° for 6 hours or so. Plant have already perked back up, and should be a good stretch of sun and 50s for a few days now.

Just keep practicing with the scope. I'm a first timer too, and it took me a little time to get used to it.
