    Brewers Toker Grow - 2019

I forget which thread it was that the subject of aphid control came up. Well, right on schedule, I saw my first ladybug on guard duty. @ganga gurl420 protected my babies last season during my first grow, reminding me that ladybugs do the same work chemicals do for aphid control, without...

    Foxfarm question.

I will if you walk me through it! I'm looking to get a mini greenhouse next spring, so it would be cool to start 100% organic with that.

    Brewers Toker Grow - 2019

Yesterday was the first all day soaking in SE Wisconsin since late June. Perfect timing for an outdoor shower for the ladies! Back to sun today. The girls are responding beautifully. Stretch is done, and flower stacking has started. Between two plants last year I had three colas. Now that I am...

    Foxfarm question.

For outdoors, that seems like overkill, IMO. I find mixing 3tbl/gal of Big Bloom with 2.5tbl/gal of Tiger bloom to be more than enough to sustain large grows outdoors. I fill gallon jugs, put the BB in first, mix, and then add the TB and mix that. That combination maintains both the roots and...

    Are they hermies?

I let a hermie grow out last season. Lemon Haze. Good smoke with stunted yield. This season I started with 7 seedlings. After sexting, I have 3 beautiful ladies, with 4 pulled. I always say, if it was me, I would pull it. That said, newbies should grow hermies out if it's their only plant...

Please help . Is it Hermie or to early to tell

Should still grow it out. It will still be some good smoke with minimal seeds if you got the male out.

Trichomes not changing to amber after first appearing

You need to look at the trichomes on the cylax, not the sugar leaves.

Please help . Is it Hermie or to early to tell

Not hermie. But looks like pollinated cylax to me. Notice the brown tips on some of the pistils?

    drying bud in a oven?????

One thing I do is take the lowest nugs and trim, and cut up into smaller nugs. Comes out to about a bowls-worth. Let those chuncks dry for 24 hours, and I can get a taste that way. Other than that, why bother?

    A 'note' to fellow newbies.

I come here to share my own experiences with growing cannabis outdoors in Wisconsin. I try to provide input where I feel I can help, and pretty much just keep to myself, like in real life The other stuff, white noise. I tune it out and focus on sharing knowledge, my reason for being here...

    Needing Expertise on pruning

Outdoors I leave all fan leaves on until the last 3 weeks of budding. Even then, it is selective and solely to get sun to other bud areas that are blocked. Always remember, as you try to get that sun energy to hidden areas of the plant, you are also removing energy by trimming fan leaves. I know...

    Male or female

Possible herm. The tiny "crab claw" in the last pic is concerning.

    Brewers Toker Grow - 2019

These girls are straight bushes now. I have flowers literally exploding now, and the weather is my best friend at this point. Full sun for close to 8 hours still has the ladies working like machines to push flowers out. Next 7 days of weather will be highs near 80 with lows in low 60s. Full sun...
