Illinois prep work advice please and thank you

Just to add to this, I am in SE Wisconsin, outdoors in the ground, and while spring and fall weather can be concerning, don't overthink it. Last season I had my 1 of my girls in ground until the first week of November (Sativa). A couple of frosts can be beneficial. Gives some color and helps...

    Last 2 weeks of flowering

Here's a Fox Farm soil feeding schedule I have.

How often do you water during flowering?

In ground during flower I have a daily regiment that has me switching between feeding and watering. 3 plants, each 5ft + and they get a gallon of water the day after feeding. The feeding is 2.5tbl of Tiger Bloom per gallon. In ground plants need water at least 3x a week between feedings during...

    Cloudy cool days....

Ultraviolet light still gets through the clouds to our plants and our skin. Ultraviolet light has its own spectrum just like regular sunlight, and still provides an energy source for the plants. As far as temps, unless it's a heavy frost, or freezing, they will be fine. A frost can even spur a...

    Brewers Toker Grow - 2019

I was out in the garden today and I realized that even with the topping I did, two of my girls are already getting close to 6ft. The third is getting real close to that. Next season I have three things on my grow list. 1) a mini green house with raised beds to start my seeds as early as...

    Cloudy cool days....

I looked back at my grow log from last season, and I went through a near 2 week stretch of rain, clouds and crap weather. Wisconsin, USA, so a little north of the UK. I just shook them off multiple times a day, and they still seemed to fatten up nicely. They caught up when the sun did come through.

    Sexing?

It impossible to tell until the plant is mature enough to "show". You aren't there yet.

House warming gift. 1st grow. Is it ready for harvest

Outdoors, nature controls the timeline. You have some time to go still.

    Question

This was end of August last year. This was a few days before harvest. October 15. Be Patient. Nature takes it time.

    Question

I just checked my grow notes from last year. The first pistils I saw were on Aug 2. It was another 3 weeks before flowers started bursting. It rained a lot, so stretch was extended a few days. I harvested on October 17. Maybe I could have harvested a week earlier. I would rather be on the late...

    Question

Outdoors I would say there is a difference. I can normally sex my outdoor plants a week before they fill in with white hairs. I culled the males and confirmed females first week of August. I am really not concerned with counting weeks, but I would say my flowering started a week after I...

    Foxfarm question.

Always less with TB. Always. I have never gone over 2.5 per gal of water. I stop TB about a week to 10 days out from harvest. I want to catch that final bulk up with nutes, but I also want to stop using it when it serves no purpose. Not for flushing purposes. I'm in the ground.

    Did i hermie ???

I discovered a lemon haze herm last season while harvesting. The pollen sacs were deep in the bud, so I couldn't see it during daily inspections. But during trim I discovered the yellow powder. Still harvested and cured it. Got about .50 pound, and not a lot of seeds. That plant got damaged by...
