big difference... cfl buds are airy.. hps buds (depending on wattage and strain) can be rock hard...

i wouldnt use walmart lowes or home depot perlite. where i live its miracle grow brand perlite thats pretty much dust. what isnt dust its such small pieces...

i wouldnt switch mediums until you get everything dialed in.. more work is involved with switching.. i did coco hempy but with the grow on a second floor the frequent watering was a pain in my ass to keep going up and down stairs getting water..not to mention you have to get the ph just right...

id also try to figure out something with all them wires.. i keep all wires out of grow tent if except the ones needed

all of the plants are going to get big during flower. like twice sometimes three times the stretch. what are you gonna use to flower? cfl isnt gonna work they dont penetrate that deep..

so blockbuster hood is good? what about a magnum? i just want to get best bang for buck..

any advice for someone looking to up the grow/yeild? current setup.. -600w hydrofarm phantom ballast (this i think is good.. its pretty much new still only used 1 cycle..) -cooltube reflector.. (looking to get a blockbuster or similar hood that i wont need a new one in a few cycles) -3x3 tent...

its never too late to change lights. its better now then never.. i would try to get at least a 400w hps in there due to the size of those things.. what is your setup other then the lights? do you got a carbon filter etc??

put the ac on a timer to turn like 30 mins before lights on.. and turns off at lights out.. that way it saves some electric.. 18/6 for veg too helps

buds arent going to produce very much due to such poor lighting, but for a first grow anything is better then nothing..

it was a 600 vertical bare bulb the 400 was 2 plants 4 ounces.. yields just seem low to me when people are pulling a pound with a single 600 the vertical would have been better but i had to pull them early cause of family issues

you really dont need 10 gallon pots in my opinion.. i use 5 gallon pots max..

well for 1, i was using shit soil from lowes/home depot and bagseeds.. i average an ounce per plant which is terrible cause with my first grow using 400w and 2 plants i got 4 ounces. last time i did a vertical barebulb with 10 plants and got 12 ounces.. so yeah you get it.. yield sucks lol. this...
