You keep the room cool with a lower ambient temp. I use a hydrofarm 6 inch inline and a filter. Vent into roof if needed or if you keep the room cool enough you can vent into the same room.

I agree with buds.. dirt and shit gets on them while they're outside. I wouldn't worry about cat hair. I get dog hair in mine..
