I would follow the regular path of growing,especially if the beanies are fem,photo or auto.....Definitely would try some beanies that don't cost anything or much..just to get it under your belt, you will need something that doesn't grow too big and you could train ,especially if you're doing...

I had a problem germinating seeds,found some jiffy pot pellets ...all my seeds have germed since I changed ..I was using the paper towel method previously....
