So should i get vinyl fence posts to accomidate for the roots or just go to a different DIY setup like bubbleponics?

Here is a hydro setup i put together myself with supplies from home depot. I need to know if the gutter is large enough to support the roots of my plants. I plan on growing them in my closet with a 400w HPS. Will the gutters be enough or do i need something bigger? Thanks guys:blsmoke:

Im doing a nutrient film hydro setup in my closet. The space is about 2x5x7. Im using a 400W HPS light. I need to ventilate this space but i dont want to cut any holes in the ceiling. Is there any suggestions of how i could vent this? I've grow with CFLs in soil in the same space and it stunk up...

Ok well i thought id update i just smoked a bowl of some i dried in the microwave and i am BLOWN! I think it is ready so tomaro im gonna harvest the plants! : )

DAMN! well should i still flush em with water? i dont want to smoke ferts....

I use miricle grow i believe a 1/4 teaspoon per half gallon. I used potting mix with styrofoam mixed in. I water about once every few days,a nd i do not put the water directly on the leaves.

Any other input?

I have an ososolating fan on them for 10 hours a day. The closet door is closed at night. I was expecting them to get bigger... Im using floresants, that probably why they arent producing much. How can i tell if they are ready?

That light needs to be alot closer. Within 2"-3" of the plant.

Im using what you are and its working great.

I keep my light 2-3" away from the plant and it works great.

Im using flouresent lights and yes, today is 3 weeks on the dot. Excuse me asking but what are cola's? This is my first grow!
