House For Sale..Grow Not Included..

I need to sell my home (by appointment only)..has anyone ever done this/had success with an active closet grow?..it's in BR #3 which doubles as storage and can easily have accumulation in front of the closet on a moments notice..no one would really enter the room because everything that's stored there..i've had workers in the past walk in there (with incense, lights off) for a few moments and didn't get any "knowing" looks from either old/younger guys..any advice is appreciated..thanks!

Especially if it's a woman buyer who wants to check out closet size so she can decide what is going to go where in accordance with what room.
If you're not willing to show me every part of the house then I'm not willing to give you what you ask for in price. There are lots of suckers, they say one is born every minute, so I'm sure someone will give you money without inspecting every room. Speaking of inspecting, what happens when you get a buyer and they want a home inspection? Dudes gonna want to look.

I have! But I had a good excuse. I have a lot of birds as pets so I put a big sign over my grow tent and labeled it as the bird medical tank. No one suspected a thing!

nice!..thank you +rep!..what did you do about smell?..did you keep the birds in that room so it looked like what you were saying?..this room is filled with boxes and storage to "look the look".

Finish the grow then sell. You will sell faster if you move everything out and clean it down to just a few sticks of well placed furniture. Sorry wish I knew a better way.

Ok I see the sick bird tent, that would not fly with me. I have large psittacines I breed and I'd offer to help move it so I could see the floor under it. Worse let's assume you are not in a legal state and growing medically. What do you do if LEO decides to look at your house. The showing maybe appointment only but the people they show it to are anyone. Please finish your grow. Then sell or move your grow.

my house is for sale all i can say is im up way to fucking early for a goddamn showing and my pot plants are in my dresser.

I had a carbon filter attached so smell was not an issue. It was in my closet, in my bedroom, which was the biggest room in the house so it was the most popular room to look at. We had quite a few people come in and out. I locked it up just in case. No one was suspicious. The birds were in the room, yes. I would definitely label it and to blend it in with the other boxes, maybe use the same labeling on some other boxes so it doesnt look fishy. Such as print out a piece of paper with the name of the contents of each box, large enough to see from a distance, say a font size around 30-50 or whatever seems to work. Tape it on and it should blend in with everything else.

Maybe in a legal state you can do it but if you're not get the damn plants out of there. With my luck the first showing would be to some DEA agent bent on eradicating the devil's lettuce and all of it's foul users.
I would not buy a house I couldn't look in the closet of. I'm pretty sure no one else would either.

I had to cease all activity for 8 months. Fucking buyers always backing down, until finally it got sold. It wasn't possible for me to keep growing, plants and pots were too big to be hidden without having to close up a room and denying entrance. If you're running a smaller set up, you might pull it off though.

Btw, it definitely is a huge risk and it is up to you if you are willing to take it. I dont recommend it because you never know what could happen. So a word of caution to you my friend

well my house showing went nice new potential landlord said he would keep me as i seem responsible plus i have a job, which is rare in my city,
i also own my own washer dryer and ebike and i updated the house a lot and kept it in good condition

Here is some advice. Either wait for your crop to finish and then sell the house or get rid of the grow and sell the house now. Don't be stupid and don't think you can hide a grow room from a walk thru.

going into the room is no problem..i have carb scrub which is on until they're coming through the gate..BR#3 is the smallest..i just got an idea..i can have boxes large enough to fit plants into when someone needs to come by and have lights in quick breakdown status..for that matter i can even have the boxes in the garage and move plants out there while anyone is looking..no one inspects the garage..they just stick their heads in to look as it's always hot and smells like diesel or for that matter can have those boxes anywhere just put a packing type slip that was suggested..i think that would work..this is kinda last minute decision..my home has equity and seems to be the best alternative at this point..so not a short sale..it's just time of year i hate the thought of people..ugh!
