When I was a kid I wanted most of the stuff I plan on putting in the book, and I wish now that I would have known everything else I am putting in there.

I'll be making some YouTube versions soon and maybe books on tape eventually.
so um, a finshaggy book on tape.. uhhhhhhhhhh cough cough uhhhhhh once umm upon uh time

It's open source. I forget what it is published as, but it's where you can copy and paste it without issues but you can't earn money from it. But you can alter the text then use it to earn money any way you want legally.

I think it gets published as "Creative Commons" I don't know what that means, but I think that is what I have heard.

Random Thought:

I always thought it was funny that in Invader Zim the leaders of the alien race were just "The Tallest". And I just realized that it was just making fun of us. We don't pick a president based on intelligence, or public works. We choose presidents based on fraternity, religion, age and a variety of other useless things.

Ex: A German X-Nazi pope was pope, simply because his competitor was not old enough to gain the support of his peers. They said he was just too young to be pope. And he was like 40 something.

Well, since the Ozium thread got deleted and the Anarchist's Cookbook was full of random tips (like getting high in Banananine) I figured this video would fit here:

I could not find a Wiki about Howard Wooldridge, which shocked me. He was a Texan Ex-Cop that rode a horse from Georgia to Oregon, then Cali to New York (13 months, 6,400 miles) talking about the benefits of legalization as well as the current waste and dangers of criminalized marijuana. So I'm going to talk about him here so that hopefully someone makes a wiki (I am not a member of Wikipedia) I will post it to Devtome though. Co-founder of LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition). He has been instrumental in the writing of multiple pieces of legislation. He is supported by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) for his efforts against reckless alcohol use.

Quote: "Every hour spent looking for pot reduces public safety"... [Marijuana Prohibition is] "the most dysfunctional, immoral domestic policy since slavery and Jim Crowe laws"

I added him on Facebook and will be asking him some questions to further this if he responds to the request.

In 2008 a research team studied Cannabis flowers that were found in the grave of a man that lived nearly 1,000 years before Jesus. And they found THC in those flowers, we all know the only reason someone would separate the flower specifically...

Chinese medical record from 2700 BC talks about using Cannabis tea to cure over 100 ailments. It was also said that it could let you speak to spirits, but if you smoked it for more than 100 days you would see demons.

In India Marijuana is used for everything from anti-anxiety medication to a holy sacrament to an intelligence booster.

Cannabis ("Fragrant Cane" ) was used in Jewish and Early Christian rituals in "Holy Oil" for anointment.

Galen (Basically the Greek Medical God, but he was a real person) wrote about how Cannabis could be used medically and recreationally with alcohol.

I will let you know up front that the chemistry behind what I am about to say next, I don't even understand. The parts that are not for use are in Italics. I understand the basics, but can not preform these things myself yet and do not suggest ANYONE try them. This is for educational purposes only.

I am reading Alexander Shulgin's book PIHKAL, and I thought I would share some things in it. Firstly I will give you a synthesis for something called Homosyringonitrile, which is what is needed for the synthesis of a few different Mescaline type chems. I am only sharing this now because in the book it is not labeled in this order, the Homosyringonitrile synthesis is not its own thing in the book, it is just part of something else.

To a solution of 72.3 g 2,6-dimethoxyphenol in 400 mL MeOH, there was added 53.3 g of a 40% solution of aqueous dimethylamine followed by 40 g of a 40% aqueous solution of formaldehyde. The dark solution was heated under reflux for 1.5 hr on a steambath. The volatiles were then removed under vacuum yielding a dark oily residue of 2,6-dimethoxy-4-dimethylaminomethylphenol. This residue was dissolved in 400 mL of IPA, to which was added 50 mL of methyl iodide. The spontaneously exocthermic reaction (hot) deposited crystal within 3 min, and was allowed to return to room temperature and occasionally stirred over the course of 4 hrs. The solids were removed by filteration, washed with cold IPA, and allowed to air dry yielding 160 g of methiodide of 2,6-domethoxy-4-dimethylaminomethylphenol as a cream colored crystalline solid.

A suspension of 155 g of the above methiodide of
2,6-domethoxy-4-dimethylaminomethylphenol in 600 mL H2O was treated with a solution of 130 g KCN in 300 mL H2O. The reaction mixture was heated on a steam bath for 6 hrs, during which time there was a complete dissolving, the development of a brownish color with a bright blue film on the surface and the walls of the flask, and the gentle evolution of fine gas bubbles. The hot reaction mixture was poured into 1.2 L H2O and acidified with concentrated HCl (careful, HCN evolution). The aqueous solution was extracted with 3x 150 mL CH2Cl2, the extracts pooled, washed with saturated NaHCO3 which removed much of the color. The solvent was removed under vacuum yielding about 70 g of viscous black oil. This was diluted at .4 mm/Hg at 150 degrees Celcius to provide 52.4 g of Homosyringonitrilet as a white oil that spontaneously crystallized to a lustrous white crystal that melted at 57-58 Degrees Celcius.

From here basically any Mescaline type chem can be make.

I think the problem is more in that I am not basing my "speeches" on very much, just some stuff I have read and an idea I had. Much of the stuff I say, I couldn't find in another video. So it's more just nervousness about presenting my thesises (or new info) than anything else.

Basically, I don't need a speech class. I just need time to go through these ideas on multiple videos, so that the entire structure is not new any more and there is nothing to be nervous about.
