A dude that works with me goes on a juice diet a couple times a year for 30 days. The first week seems to be the worst from what he says. I go on two or three day fasts whenever I feel like it but three days is max for me. I only drink water and beer. I drink hefeweissen when I fast. I figure if the monks can live on it so can I. It's cool and after day 2, day 3 is easy. After I did it a few times I realized that I needed to change my diet. I cut out everything fast food and kept to the beer and water routine. I haven't had a soda in 3 years or a Big Mac. I don't even miss the shit now. The smell of fast food hamburgers actually makes me nauseous now. I eat like a mo' fo' but mostly at home and without having to diet or watch my weight I have stayed at 220 for 3 years. I learned that it was the garbage food and garbage drinks that were F'ing me up.
