Why are you okay with other kinds of force applied to peaceful people against their will?
The word you want is respect. We are not some kind of obedience slaves. WE have respect for the rule of law. And the situation has never been where there is no force. Therefore it is only a matter of application. In Rome, public rape was a punishment in some cases.....damn disrespectful War Lords. So, who applies the force?

Is the force of Law? Or is the force of Warlord arbitrary violence? War Lords rape. Law protects and punishes. One is to be respected, the other feared.

You don't really understand force.

we live in a society where there are rules and regulations that "we the people vote on" as a whole hence, democracy..if you are unhappy with the current administration, you can do just what the president suggested..VOTE your people in..until then STFU..have a nice day:smile:
Well, the problem with a warlord, is he has no one to vote in. He is the loner. The one that say all of us are totally confused. He acts like Messiah. But, He is Warlord of One and can only have his way by force. He insists, his definition of freedom is the only one.

Yet his freedom is the only one that has no practical definition in the rule of Law.

Very Freudian, n'cest pas?

It doesn't matter that Obama promised everybody's health care costs to go down on average of $2500? It's perfectly ok if Obama is a liar? No problem at all? At this point we should all be used to watching our piece of shit president lie through his teeth?

What do you mean by perfectly OK? My definition is since he got the votes by lying, it is perfectly OK, Had he come in by extra-Constitutional means, that is not OK.

But, duly elected is OK. And wake up. All the politicians lie.

But, the game is to say only the other guys are dirty and you fell for that.

that post makes no sense... Please name the last regulation the "people" have voted for... :dunce:

re-read the post..you vote for the candidate who most closest resembles your ideology..you do not "fix" or "throw" a political race with voter suppression just because there are not "as many of you" as there used to be..this country has made a historical change and it's not going back..lump it or LEAVE!
Taxing religions isn't separation of church and state and points 2-4 won't happen while lobbyists have their say, they effectively drown out any voice of reason with large sums of cash... Please note: This is not limited to any one "party"...
yup and that's why i have posted in the past, we need to get away from the lobbyist and come up with a system in which business leadership can work effectively with current administrations where money doesn't exchange hands, no back room "deals"..

however, i did come up with an effective plan to build revenue without cutting the budget one iota..cults are business..they need to pony up!

George H.W. and it was played over and over by Clinton during the campaign. Yep, the Bush's have sucked for decades.

Now if it were our present day president we could just claim he meant gnu taxes and our sheep was off limits...

So if people vote in something that is immoral when a regular person does it, it magically becomes acceptable when a group of people that call themselves your leaders do it?

Your answer is lacking any substance and fails to address my question. Almost like you dodged it and have no ability to see or face your own hypocrisy.

Rules of society that sanction violence or threats on peaceful people by institutionalized systems (government) which rely on violence or the threat of it to exist seem a little abusive. Almost like rape.

It seems any reasonable society would respect an individuals right to engage or disengage as long as they don't harm others. Unfortunately you defend the violence. Why?
I think it's because you revere obedience to stupid laws. Which doesn't speak highly of your ability to reason. I vote that every person that leaves others alone has self determination, not a pack of rapists or potential rapists dictating to them.

I did not have sex with that woman..

Where is Granada, again?...

It was not an aspirin factory....

Help is on the way, Blackhawk...

Contra what? Mommie, why do they keep saying Nicaragua?

Is it? That's according to what the Definition of is, is...

Iraq's WMDs present a clear and present danger....

We were fired on in the Gulf of Tonkin....

A sneak attack (?) just occurred at our Navy Base in the Hawaiian Islands...

Syria's WMDs are a National Security threat

I don't recall...

What difference can it possibly make?

The Consulate (?) in Benghazi....

A Video incited the Riots....

No assets were present...

All we have to fear is fear itself.

There are books written on Presidential lies, large and small. Do you think anyone is clean? It is not just the Presidents or the Leaders.

All lie. It is the job.

Do you really feel voter suppression is an issue considering only 58% of eligible voters turned out in '12? I cannot believe 42% of the eligible voting public are being suppressed, but I can easily believe those that make up the 42% don't vote because they do not feel their views are represented or even aligned with the two major parties...

Could you outline the historical change you speak of?

When Democrats and Republicans argue and act like they are in big disagreements with each other, it's just for show. Behind closed doors they get along very well. You will know when they are for real when they attack each other with disdain, hatred, and anger. You know, the way they attack conservatives. As far as I'm concerned, Democrats and Republicans both want the same thing. The only difference is Democrats want big government fast. Republicans want to do it slowly, and also be included more in the process. Jeb Bush is sitting on the sidelines right now wondering when it will be his turn to grow government and fuck up our country.

Shuylaar and other liberals really like your last post by the way. I have been trying to get along with you, but you're making it very difficult when you attack me every time I mention the truth about Democrats.... almost as if you were a Democrat.

Well I want a president that doesn't lie. I do think it's possible, and I don't think it's too much to ask. I honestly think that it will take a conservative to turn our country around in the right direction. Not a republican Bush McCain or Romney, and definitely not a Democrat. Romney would have slowed down the bleeding, but in the end create more government like Bush and Obama
