I asked AT about the at660 price more. As usual it will be more than I thought, $2399. I tried to talk him down but the cost of production are higher than I even thought. I heard one of you was smart enough to just contacted apache and asked themselves what the new panel was going to cost. That is how I get info that I can not show/get from my own meters and research abilities.
Still no information to back up you claims, but I'll keep playing...
They use lens, not reflectors, and I was wrong when I thought apache shouldn't use them. Most lights do not perform better without them. The light lost though the lens is worth it for the increase in focus and light delivered to the canopy. Read the link-

In a community like this is...you are the only one that thinks what I have been showing is somehow way off. I have been completely transparent with all the information I give on here and if someone wants/needs more and asks, I give it and anything else that I might have missed the first time. I have recommend a51 just as much if not more than apache so I am not mind washed by AT...it has to do with what light meets the performance parameters as I have said many times. A51 has better price for a really similar light to AT120...but no one has something like the at660(yet).
If not Apache or a51 as the best panel manufacture, then who and why???
COBs were never king, so if somehow you actually show me some proof, it's some big news.
All he has done is see the info that was presented to him and make a educated decision for his stance on what we have been debating. He is obvoiusly seeing it my way, but hard to blame him when the other side(which came here to pick the argument) isn't offering up any real info on anything they say(pico mostly, not so much you spiko).
You are happy with what you have, and i'm glad it's woking for you and your old one is too. In the other thread where you said it came with metal shavings all in it and you had a slight problem with your order or something. If that panel meets you criteria then grow on man and show us what's up.
It is my thread, but all information that is sound and factually based is welcome. And even truly innocent but uneducated are welcome. But you never offer anything other than pure opinion and make as big of claims as anyone. Worse of all, that is all you do, claim, with no support behind it.
I have no idea what this has turned into but it's gotten messy.
Captain is killing...for good reasons other than just his great growing skills. The cree "capatin morgan™" bulbs use cree xt-e's...which I have praised on many occasions and is what I always recommend to DIY'ers and why I like what a51 is doing. Cree XT-E or Nichia 219b...the best respectively for WW and CW imo. And since cree themselves are making the bulbs, the cost are low. Those globes are a great product. You(pet) already know all that, but just for everyone who might have missed it.
