Food stamps and conservative ideology

Do you think hunger is a permit to initiate aggression against others?

As far as "greed" goes that's a different issue than a person peacefully pursuing their own self interest.

again you use subjective terms as proof of nothing really

one person existence of self interest may indirectly be taking/limiting from another persons existence, and indirect or not it is a outcome that is plausible

i do not have any examples but , i sure many exist, sweatshops, oil fields, diamonds, good from impoverished countries who's labor force is owned by international cooperation's . .etc

If they're so hungry, they can clear and haul the weeds from my backyard. It will take about 4 hours. In exchage I'll make you a fancy dinner, you can choose the menu, for a week.
Sounds like a reasonable exchange that two peaceful parties could engage in, if they both agree to it and both benefit.

Okay, I'll be a little more plain. It's not okay to steal people's shit. If people want to hire others and the labor exchange is on a voluntary basis, it's not my business to intervene, nor is it yours, it is the business of the people making the exchange.

I know that a person pursuing their self interest in ways that initiates aggression against others can and does happen, but I differentiate that from peacefully pursuing self interest....I think THAT distinction is fairly obvious.

When a Lion is hungry he kills a gazelle or takes what food he can from others. This is nature. If you force people to attack you for food, you will soon see how weak you are and wish you had been more generous to those who have needs. If you don't feed the animals, eventually they will eat their handlers.

I think hunger is a result of aggression.

It can be, but it can also be the result of poor choices or stupidity. As far as feeding people, I support any effort you make to do that. I give away alot of meals, but I don't think anybody should force others to do this.

When a lion is cowardly, he dances and sings and frightens scarecrows....really, I saw the movie.

its not very logical to acknowledged something then ignore it as it doesn't fit into your personal view of your own actions

your utopian view of life is ascertained by few im honest opinion ......

No. It is the result of artificial scarcity.

You forgot he burns crosses in peoples yards, takes away their right to vote, tells women what to do with their bodies, and tries to kill the educational system.

when you do it vs talk about it . . is when ill take you serious . . otherwise its just hot air
You want to take me up on the agreement? This fall when the Santa Ana winds come, it'll be a big mess. I'd rather spend a few hours in the kitchen than a few minutes working in the backyard.

Ill start out by saying I receive food stamps. I was approved for 1 year, at $200 a month and my benefits are scheduled to end in October. I did not voluntarily get on food stamps. I went to a drug addiction rehab last October and it was a small time operation. One of the ways they funded their program was to enroll damn near all the patients on food stamps. It was actually illegal how they did it. They kept the card and used them to buy food stamps. After I left the rehab, they let me keep my card and I've had it since. While I am sure there are many people who use their food stamps as intended, a great many of the folks I know who get them promptly sell them to buy drugs. Anyway, I have a couple issues with the food stamp program. 1) I do not think one ought to be able to use them to go into a gas station and buy a red bull, or even a soda. 2) I think that the items one ought to be able to buy should be limited to somewhat nutritionally good food. I shouldn't be able to buy ice cream and ding dongs with my food stamps. 3) I think a lot of the money that goes to support the food stamp program should be directed towards farmers in this country to grow food. Buy the food from the farmers and distribute it through offices in each town. People ought to be able to go in there and get all the beans, or other healthy produce that will actually be good for them.

200 / 30 =6.66 a day
For that kind of money you are supporting our farmers.
Since the only thing you can afford is rice and shit with high fructose corn syrup in it
