1971 seems like a long time ago rrog--
the first time i threw seeds outside.....
been in the cannabis culture a little while
......enough time to have a front row seat for most of the show
and i gotta keep edging my posts up....till i get to ""Mr"" ganja

Personally I don't believe Subcool is a honest person because there's so many different strains with better taste. I am curious about his cross with Hells Angel OG but honestly I didn't find anything wrong with the Hells Angel OG I tried so I'm not sure why you would cross, I guess that's just what breeders do...
I might just have a different taste but Headband, Kosher Kush, White Fire OG, Bubba Kush and the right pheno of some OG Kush is all I need.. Of course I want to experiment but I've grown subcools stuff and I've seen plenty of others do it too but I'm just not crazy about his genetics. Call me a hater or whatever, I'm not saying I won't smoke his stuff but I'm not going to waste time growing anything from him after my past experiences.
Guess I'm a hater...

I had the not so privilege of growing Subs personal Vortex seeds for a Veteran he sent them too , this was honorable I admit as they were free ! But the Vortex was nothing but a cup of coffee in the end except for the Apollo dom pheno as this one is slightly potent in my opinion .
There was many variables in expression amongst the phenos for it being there most stable line of the pack .. I didn't even bother to run the rest of the beans as the 6 ladies were nothing special in my circles . Sub made comment the Apollo dom girl making some nice full melt but it too was like having Espresso verses coffee in the end .
I am not saying that all of the TGA lineup is weak but the Vortex sure is sad .. Sub made gear originally to offer clone only elite copies to the mass who could not obtain, but then the marketing and mashup became what we know of today as TGA .. There is Dank to be found somewhere in it all if you have time to sort and play.
The majority of the credit is due to the unknown soldiers who passed these genetics down in the first place to this circle but we do not hear about them too often now as someone really enjoys the limelight !

Same here. He was always a bit harsh, but it seems like in the last year Subcool has let his inner douchbag come out. After trying some of his gear I jumped off of that train. As others have said... mid shelf. Pleasant, pretty and not much punch.

The concept and use of "Super Soil" has been around long before Sub/TGA wrote a couple articels about it. The dude is a marketing machine, but marketing concepts and stains of others in the end.

I had took aim at Rollie about Sub's selective edits back when this went down. Rollie likes to claim council with their minions of lawyers, but somehow has no problem with the hundreds of pages of threads Sub has wrongfully edited to fraudulently mislead with in the end. A year later, having watched Rollie run shot on this MI sub-forum, I guess I just hadn't realized that they are one in the same
