Triple X (XXX)

Got ahold of a gem a while back... called it triple x... was a funky skunk sweet DANK herb... was jus wonderin if anyone else had the pleasure of comin across this... got it from a friend but seen it also at the GC3... never could get the genetics on it held any info on it like it was aztec gold but it was an awesome smoke... i know there are a few breeders that have a triple x in there line up but to many to single out...

Sounds like the winner to me boss... best description i got from it was prolly apothocary genetics triple x which u cant get unless u hit a cali dispensary... be super sick to find the cut i smoked for them couple years but jus knowing the genetics would at least help... do u have a mother of the XXX??

now that i take a closer look that pic of ur avatar actually looks like the XXX lol... Had a neon green color with really orange hairs but that smell and taste was almost identical and i found it hard to remove my nose from the bag

lmfao yes sir that actully is a xxx from 2 years ago under cfl haha an i regrew it 3 times same mother plant....thats right the xxx is a regrower so one seed of female can last you up to hell 5 years but the buds turn into more popcorn then tops if u get wat im saying an i have one seed left an im waiting on it cause like you said the smell an high r fricken incredible an not to mention i got 8oz the first grow an average 5-6 second an third but she is a best if u let her go def not a stealth plant haha

there is a XXX that came from Tuscola CO. i smoked some and it floored me. the same source had some Raspberry Cough that was probably the strongest bud ive ever smoked. i mean you could vape like 15 bags off a little bowl of it. let it cool and forget about, and it would still get u high later.

i know someone who is in a big circle of growers between Mt pleasant and Traverse city. He also smoked something called XXX with me, but it didnt touch the other sources' XXX. Dont get me wrong it was still good, but they were certainly different.

I know for a fact we are speaking of the same plant cuz the first (and best) batch i got from this were huge nugs and seemed to have a little more pop to em then the later batches... if this is the case then u probly know about the purp... always had the purp and the XXX... blew my mind when u said the buds popcorned up cuz that is exactly what happened in my case as well although i wasnt fourton enough to grow it i always got the call when it was ready to be smoked...

he may have had the moniker of "big dog" as he was considered one and very respected for his stuf

his XXX had many cup enteries in mendo and always placed in top 5-
in fact anything he entered placed in top 5-

he was actually from flint but had moved out there many years ago
he has posse still around flint tho so I would guess they have the genes somewhere here

there are also a clan from kzoo that run his stuff out there
they took over his seed bank-

i have been waiting to see one of them post up here....
they would never.....hehe

he died in Thailand a few years ago..(ripdoug!)

I would understand how apothecary got this
....but claiming 'rights'...??...pfffft

Smoking those I feel close to him again. My, I miss him. He won so many times at my NY harvest fest cup...even if it was drying on the dashboard on his way there!!!

i cant even remember all of his strains but when i see the names it all comes back-

the guy was world class and at the top of the game

I will be out there (G-d willing) this summer and hope to grab some 'more' of his genes to spread around here in the mitten

He was a badass and i had the pleasure of knowing and hanging with him at alot of events

His memorial we had for him was fitting....he passed in thailand from a simple procedure
we did a nice party @-boonville grange to send him off...lots of tears

Yes he is/was responsible for alot of genetics floating around out there and his name will live on forever

Chad holds his seed bank and derick is still running his stuf
