Here is a better shot of my cab. at first I had a shelf up tom for clones but decided I wanted more height because all the plants I ran would grown up to the light and push up against it. this pic is of the modification when I bought my ebb & flow (use to use an RDWC system), my filter and 200cfm inline fan to keep the odor out:

The way my cab looked before I modified it:

Alright lads, day 53 of 12/12. So far all seems well enough. Had a little bit of heat stress so have the lights raised to the top.
The two Laughing Buddhas are the first 4 pics and the rest are the Northern Lights
Good to have you back ae, anything on the go in your garden

Oh yea i have a small grow closet with a 250w hps, only doing the autos outside as to not waste the sun
SUN---You got SUN in Ireland ?? you jammy buggers edit Nice pics Paddy , if you've not tried it, I reckon your in for a treat with the Laughing Buddha, supposed to be a medium strength good fun weed but when I grew it It blew your head off, and that's just an attic grow with no particular care or attention, good luck

thanks dude, good to be back about, missed you lot, its the only place i get to banter about the growing and i do like a banter ....

have one power plant and two bubba 76 (again thanks md) all vegged for 4 weeks at 18/6,and topped at the 5th node, also some very slight de-foiliated only round the tops really, one of the bubbas is a real goer its towering above the rest at 5 ft where as the rest are about 3 to 3 and half feet so its getting tricky to manage the ligh aswell..

back up and going in a new grow spot with proper ventilation and just had my friendly sparks in to wire it the other day so out of the wardrobe thank god, the temps were getting pretty high of late, and now the real frosty stuff has passed i felt it was time to get another shed going...

just popped 3 og kush (md again hahahahaha) so there going to be 12/12 from seed... and the outdoor crop will be popped in few days or so, they`ll be the trusty lemmon haze..

have to say pad, your own grow is looking pretty awesome the l.b !!!!!!! who done that before? i`d have to go bac along ways to find out but nearly sure someone on here has done it before and were pretty impressed with the end result...

how do bilbo, how did you find the attic growing? tried it before and just tought it was too risky with flir and heat and watering etc....

Trying it now bilbo. Took down an LB about a fortnight ago. Yielded a little over 3 o's after a week drying.

The thing I've seen about them is they don't require a lot of nutes. The one time I crossed 1.0 EC feeding with them they were burned the next evening. Really don't require a lot to keep these girl's going:-D

It's a nice smoke alright. Can't wait to see what it's like after a good 3 or 4 month cure.

--- well I grew some stuff for years up in my attic but really, it was as basic as it got. still grew some decent weed by my own standards, thought I was Jorg Cervantes, very chuffed with myself I was, but really it was just a hobby thing with virtually no refinements , light, pot, plant, sometimes a fan blowing on them, temps all over the place, no bloom ferts until a couple of years ago----NO ODOUR CONTROL with no odours detected---I highlight that because some dude over on the UK growers thread is basically calling me out as a bullshitter, impossible he says, but I kid ye not-------I recently was in someones house who was a grower and he showed me his glow closet and I was gobsmacked by the quality and size----so I decided to copy him and try and set up a closet of my own, Im getting there and I see rosy times ahead. fingers crossed

sounds like my first few grows, i was kinda clueless and had them going under very low wattage cfl`s with no flower nutes and the most basic veg nutes (tomato food really) needless to say got next to no yeild and some very lanky plants.... came on here and learned a shit load, went on to grow a couple and got a few oz`s out of them, upgraded the lights and got more again....

when in the attic i was just useing larger wattage cfl`s a pot and a plant, so your right its not impossible and depending on the light (wattage lumens etc etc) its totally do-able and worthwhile, also same with the fans, have one now but grew for along time without one, temps as you say all over the place, never and still don`t have a thermo so can`t give you specific temps but fuck me it was hot come watering time hahahahhaa...

have you tried topping, super cropping or any of the other training methods to help increase yeild? sometimes you get only a few grams extra(cfl growing) or even up to extra oz`s with the larger lights..

don`t think i`ve ever had a yeild that lasted that long.....

''have you tried topping, super cropping or any of the other training methods to help increase yeild? sometimes you get only a few grams extra(cfl growing) or even up to extra oz`s with the larger lights'' Ive tried a bit of tying down on my grow I got just finishing vegging just now heres a diagram of what Im trying, a pic of my NL tied down, and a trainwreck clone Iv kind of pegged out to try and force more centre branches, ----------- what the hell am I doing ? too much information is a dangerous thingView attachment 2628559Nirvana Northern Lights 28 Days From Seed Tied 3.jpgTrainwreck Cuttings 35 Days From Rooting Left Normal Right Tied 2.jpg

Don't think it's gonna last that long either:bigjoint:Ah well, I've more coming through.

Have to start getting something in veg again. Those NLs should be coming down in 6 or 8 weeks

the only part of growing that i don`t really enjoy is from seedling to say the 3/4th node, once they get going i start to get into it, not so bad tho you have girls already on the go so takes the boredum out of it...

tieing down is cool but in my opinion topping and cropping is better on a couple of fronts, as for too much info.... never it can only mae you a better grower, wehter it works out of not at least you learn and can go forward from there...

supercropping---hmmmm---I have no doubt it works but it seems like vandalismafter caring for my wee plants I then deliberately and with malice aforethought---nearly kill them. I'll try it on my next grow
