There is a god, My good Lady was busting my tits to get the garden tidied up, couldn't be arsed to be honest, so she started going on a bit like they do. So to keep the peace I started pruning and weeding and generally half arsed messing about in the garden when I came across thisHedge Sparrows Nest.jpgdont know what kind it is, maybe a hedge sparrow the wife says, but I love the wee thing, as soon as I showed the wife this I was ordered out of the garden so as not to disturb the puir wee critter, and spent the rest of the afternoon lazing about watching the telly without a peep from the trouble and strife.

maybe, I just checked and yeah, Robins eggs are blue, so are hedge sparrow which is what I named the pic, but robin, that would be nice.

ya think its a hedge sparrow too. Came across a nest with 3 eggs that looked exactly like that last year and google said it was a dunnock or hedge sparrow.. Hopefully the momma bird comes back for it ;/

Looks sweet kang. Took down my Laughing Buddha last night.

There's yellowing and curling of the leaves of two LB's in flower again and the 2 Northern Lights seem to be going alright. At this stage I'm going with md's suggestion it was genetic.

ae, good to have you back man!!!

still learning ebb and flow but I think I am getting the hang of it, had one plant early on looking like death but turned around and now it happened to another which you will see in the pic but the new leaves forming on the top look fine. been in veg for 23 days on a light schedule of 20/4 and 275w MH light using the lucas method with some calmag plus sense I am using RO water and it lacks mag and cal.

ebb and flow
i love ebb and flow. the problem i had was when it was time to transplant them the roots would be in a knot. but if you don't have to transplant then i think it's one of the best hydro systems, but i have yet to try DWC, that too looks good too. but what would i know, i'm not a scientist.

how often do your pumps run for? i used to have mine for 30 mins, 6 times a day. until they grew a bit, then i'd reduce that to 5 times, so on and so on, till i had it on for 3 times a day for 30 mins. i found that 3 times a day was not enough at the start. it looks like it's over/under watered, but it's hard to understand the problem from a picture. if i had to guess i'd say the root system is not strong enough to take up all the water it needs make it to the next watering time. but this is just my theory. again "i not a scientist".

if it was me, i'd dump it anyway. it's weak and will just piss me off over the grow time. i'd pinch the top of the other girls, 3 weeks from flowering and pinch again a week from flowering, chop off all the lower branches a week or 2 later and until i just have a lollipop of the four main colas per plant, and use a screen to keep them all at the same height. i'd be keeping an eye on that one to the right, it looks like a 14 day old plant when the rest all a week ahead of it,

Good morning men, hows the form? After dropping the scrog on the shackzilla this morning, she's looking good so far. Only 28 days since the seed popped so the growth so far has been quite vigourous. You should give DWC a go piper, it's dead easy.

looking great, I did look at DWC but thought I was too difficult.. You my friend have it spot on and to use this method with SCROG then you're going to harvest a huge amount... I'm a great fan of scrog and this is a perfect example...

I haven't even added the most exciting part, got a 5lpm air pump at the moment with a 30lpm ordered. Growth should explode once I have it in my possession.

Thanks for the kind words Jay, it means a lot to be getting compliments from a veteran like yourself. The hardest thing for me is to keep res temps in check, it's warmed up today and my res temps have gone from 20 to 22 but using beneficials should keep the root rot at bay this run.

Spent the day looking for a new airpump too. I use it for mixing nutes and trying to keep up with having nutes mixed with a single outlet pump is headwrecking since im feeding nutes at 3 different ratios.

Went bigger than you though... 50l/min:-P

That lady is looking amazing again as well

at a second glance, the one at the bottom left. is that yellow outlined? same with the top right? i'm thinking it maybe a zinc deficiency it could be magnesium def, but again "picture - not a scientist"

to me it looks like the early stages of this View attachment 2615209
take a look and see if theres anything that looks like yours here http://www.420magazine.com/forums/frequently-asked-questions/81266-cannabis-plant-pest-problem-solver-pictorial.html
I'm using rockwool, not sure what you used, the rockwool holds water for quite sometime so I don't but every 4 or 6 days now until they get big enough to handle it a couple times a day. but like I said I'm learning this new system and plan to water today in a few minutes though after I give the res a good h2o2 dose.
