Thank you Rand Paul for taking the time to clarify that the govt shouldn't be murdering citizens with drone strikes. Maybe it should have gone a little further and not had the exceptions and qualifiers put forth and been a bit more clear but good work sir it is appreciated.

They feel the drones will make less of a spectacle than the feds did at Waco. Or Ruby Ridge.

I think actually filibustering is pretty badass. I got sick of republicans threatening it without actually doing it and the democrats crying about the republican threats. I don't remember a real one. Anyone know the last time this actually happened? How long did it last? Jimmy Stewart is the only one I'm aware of.

I read that Paul claims it was spontaneous. He said that if he'd known, he would have worn comfortable shoes. He also joked about the real physical limitations (he had to pee).

WHole different last 4 years if the Republicans were actually forced to filibuster. Instead of threatening to do so a couple hundred times

I don't know if it's always been this mucked up or if I'm just now noticing. I never understood why the dems didn't call em on the threats. It went down like this so many times; "if you try to do that we are going to filibuster" "well shit, we can't do anything, they keep filibustering everything". History will show there has been a record number of filibusters in the last 4 years but this is the first one I've heard of that was real.

last one before this was bernie sanders in 2010, i believe.

as much as i dislike opossum head, at least he had the balls to do an actual filibuster (with the help of a few of his neo racist whack job friends).

i'm sorry, but opossum head is a racist shit just like his old man.

there's really no other way to describe a man who values the rights of racist business owners over the welfare of the general public.

randy pawl has never heard of the 14th amendment, so it would be impossible to describe him as a protector of the constitution.

randy pawl is a protector of racists first and foremost.

Rand Paul got an actual debate going in the Senate about something very relevant, with illegal applause at the end. I think Rand may be the next GOP nominee. He has an excellent voting record, he is intelligent, and he's a good speaker. He may not be the revolutionary type, but he would at least move us in the right direction.

OWS doesn't like Hill-dawg, she is the definition of the NWO. They would rather vote for someone who believes in civil liberties. He is moderate enough for the standard fox news republican, and libertarian enough for us to vote for him over Hill-dawg. win-win-win :bigjoint:
