Has anyone seen or herd of Subcool's "main lining" this technique will allow a grow to achieve up to 16,24,or even 31 or more main cola's on 1 plant!!! Hell he was even taling about having up to 60 some!! It all depends on the grower, & also the strain your using! The technique works really well with his Ace of Spades strain!! And just about any other strain of his also!

Here's the thread incase anyone wants to check it out : https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/542308-main-lining-thread.html

All the outdoor guys in Cali have been doing that for years. Is Subcool putting his stamp on inventing that as well? :hump:

Nugbuckets is putting his stamp on it. He's working closely with sub cool, using his genetics and soil mix and its all organic. Nothing but organic soil and teas! Nugs is cool as hell, a great photographer and writes well. When a book comes out I'm in for one. Check out the sick ass ace of spades he did in his greenie. He calls it fruity pebbles!

Lollipopping isn't necessarily used for producing just one main cola, although this would be the aim in a SoG garden. Lollipopping can be done to produce as many colas as you wish, with minimal lower fruit. Basically lollipopping is removing the under canopy and concentrating plant energy towards the tops. I lollipop early and often at times, to manipulate the growth pattern of the plant. It may not necessarily improve the overall yield, but it will reduce trimming times and increase the consistency of the crops.

I wouldn't worry much with your style, the production on your plants is great from top to bottom, awesome plants bud.

EDIT: I think you might be asking about running sea of green with lollipopping?

Check out Al's thread

He's all dydro of course, and SoG is probably better suited for hydro but it could be done with soil and organically with some extra effort.

Sorry to hear you're snapping them.... Check out the video in 770 for training those thick ones. At a glance, I would probably start with a slight bend in those stalks and follow up with something more aggressive every day over the course of 2 or 3 days to get the desired result. Looks like you have a nice cutting that will root in a few days at least. Better luck ahead.

I have noticed that when your trying to "supercrop" and that does happen "break off a top" then its more so like "topping" the plant.. Because you will see that when it responds to the place that happend , you will get "two" shoots just like you had "topped" instead of supercropped. When I 1st started doing this method, I would break the outter skin on the shoot I was trying to supercrop, all I would do is just take some electrical tape and wrape her up.. ;) good as new. Now id it broke completely off, then if it was "big" enough I would try to clone it.. win/win.. :)
