Supercropping and Canopy Control

Nicely done, it looks like you're in for 6 nice colas from the top pic. When is/was the switch? I'd be inclined to clean up the bottom a bit personally.

I hope your new bends work out well for you. They appear to be in great spots to keep the dominant branches working up while creating some space for each other.
Yeah its nice topped it for 6 main colas, snapped 2 of them while supercropping an av got 2 new shoots from each of em so ill have 10 or 11 main tops, im planning on flowering in exactly 2 weeks today, iv already trimmed up the bottom of the plant, kinda lollipopped it, And yes the supercropping is in good position for holding some nice bud, i think ill give it another round or 2 of supercropping before the switch.

I thought I'd share a concept I got from Giggles. 5 gallon bucket, 10" fan with base removed, 1 cup ona gel, 1 cup soil moist, 9 cups water. It works for my entire basement which is around 1200-1300 square feet. No more compost tea pewpy smell, no more dank smell. Keep in mind I'm using this WITH carbon filters on my tents. The test will be when I chop the next round. Cheers! Keep that canopy tight!

Is that enough holes in that bucket?
Do u use fan on low setting?
I still think I am gonna add this to my filter soon.
I have some strains that are supposed to be stinky

its working awesome but I also thought about adding a few more holes. I started on high to get the area neutralized, then turned it down to medium and will see how it smells in the am. I think I'll do another set of holes when I refill it.

I was thinking back pressure would make the fan vibrate on the lid or more whooshing noise lol.

Nope it just hums. If you make one heat the lid up with a heat gun and a razor knife cuts a clean home like butter.

Thanks for the video. I tried it and here is what Ive got to show. What do you guys think of my first training? I know the nutes went wacky but the green is coming so I think she's past it. Please comment on my training job. This plant split its main stalk on its own and that came from an out of place node. I topped those two but the two opposite nodes also split. I didn't top those two but I did bend all branches to even the canopy as pics 3 and 4 shows. Pic 2 is from my critical jack clone that I bent already and she just exploded. The first pic is of my flowering critical jack and she got no training, topping or anything. The main cola is already as long as a 5 gallon bucket. I'm excited about the trained ones because they look 10x more robust than the flowering girl that got nothing. So back to the main topic....How did I do for a first time trainer? Thanks again for the video OP........

Thanks for joining in! The training looks fine but I hope you can get pics 3 and 4 back to health. Looks like you just upcanned to their flowering containers, I hope they take to the soil quickly.

I'm putting some more holes in it. Chopping 2 shitter plants today and this is funny. I can't smell shit 6 feet away from the plants with the ona bucket running. But the upper level just wreaks lol. Gonna need to make a second bucket, one for upper and lower levels.

She should be fine. I've got a few more weeks before flowering.
Good to hear JBG. I often have to let my plants get rootbound in their initial containers in order to keep the perpetual in order. They sometimes get a little ill blowing the bottoms out of their 6" pots lol.

Hey bkb, you're right about super cropping and over breaking. I LST throughout veg starting a few days after they are transferred from their clone stage. Being on top of your LST and topping as well as great nutrients is the way to grow big ladies and eventually not have to use stake and/or screens. Check out my pics and videos here's one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOmxKZUqeXI , these are not as big and/or flat as they should be on top, but you can get the picture. I will eventually put up LST videos when I get a new camera. Here are some pics of ladies showing what it looks like under the canopy. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions, happy tokin'! ps i don't LST during flowering or try to touch my plants, especially the tops after the third week. fyi: )
