That was our other option but we have gardeners who come occasionally and never on a set schedule. They'll show up and do 5 or 6 houses on our block. Usually once every 10 days or so. Also, we spend a lot of time in our yard (jacuzzi) and my daughter is always playing back there, so leaving them full-time in the yard is just too risky. That being said, I do like giving them natural light and letting them "breathe", so we do take them out when we can. They are out in the yard right now but my gate is locked and no kids are home.

nice man, glad youve kept them. i like the gazebo idea to prevent direct sunlight. ac might just get a bit too cold... you using cfls i see? with just an extra fan or two it should be okay, especially if you have lights off in day and on at night. then again, im from uk and ive only been to florida once. it was facking hot.

:evil: Give him some bag seed he is old enough, lethim take it too his fathers and grow it in a closet, @ Daddy's house then you have the little f*cker by the ass. Who are these adults gonna believe you could also act like he gives you shit all the time hence why he is with his dad, and you have the other 2 little girls......My oldest she helps start seedlings, and she knows how to top my plants she is really interested in it..... she has ADD, she is pretty smart too I told her I would go to jail and she would have to live with her dad... that did not go over well with her I think she understands the ultimate punishment, if we were to get caught. She keeps her friends downstairs when she has friends over... no garage huh? BTW what are you growing...what strains...?

idk, if he smokes pot then why would he tell on you? I definitely wouldn't. I would ask for more and see what you would say. Just talk to the kid, (in person) about the situation. You guys couldn't definitely work something out ;)

We have a garage but we use all the space for storage - motorscooter, bicycles, football tailgate stuff, etc.

Blaze, I started that all on an impulse one day. We usually only smoke high-end shit (no pun intended) but my guy has been out of it the last month (big busts down here the last few months). The next best thing he had was "regs" with seed. We were very skeptical at first but it turned out to be some great shit. Not as good as our crip, but very indica heavy. Major couch-lock, narcotic high. On a whim, I took about 20 seeds and stuck them in some topsoil we had and planned to just let them fend for themselves. Then I found this site and started educating myself. About 8 sprouted and I decided to get serious with it. I transplanted them to better soil mixed with perlite. I bought a bunch of CFLs, mylar, fan, nutes, fert, molasses, etc. I've been really following the recommendations carefully. We lost 3 along the way for various reasons and now we have 5 generally healthy plants. 4 of the 5 have a very pungent skunky stink. The 5th has very little smell and it appears to be more sativa in appearance with the thin finger-like leaves.

some of these indicas can take 2-3 weeks longer to finish indoors though

No it will not reduce the yeild using direct sunlight(it will yeild alot more), but those plants when induced to 12/12 are going to want to double in size....

i did the same thing 20 years ago. had a few seeds, "i wonder what will happen if i just drop these in dirt". i haven't stopped sense.

way to fight it, hold strong and don't let them win. your finished product will be twice as good now. mark my words. plants feel your pain and love. you are to be rewarded.

I was thinking he could use one of those translucent panels like they have in greenhouses, just put a panel on top of his shed. They only let through 65-80% of the light.

I would part with something if he is growing he can't blab that you are, we all agreed in another thread when kids are old enough. Well fuck it he doesn't live with you give him one in a frigen sterilite container, let him take it to his dad'd if he gets caught transfer yours out. To maybe your dealers place if he is cool like that, ours is........I think if his grades aren't affected by it then let him...... My daughter wants to try it with me only, but we agreed she could wait until she is a little older. We were thinking 16 also, she sits on the computer while I blaze I am sure she has had a contact buzz cause when she leaves she usually goes straight to bed.......to each is their own......HMK you are the only one that REALLY knows this kid I guess you should describe him a little bit we need to know if he is a real dink or if he is a smart ass or does he generally get good grades, cause he is naturally intelligent (I hate those people they hear something anjust remember it....) ...pisses me off I have to write it read it, & I usually have to repeat those steps a couple of times.... Unless it is something that really interestes me.... so can you give us the low down on this kid.....Is he a puke, punk, smart ass, cocky, arrogant, shy, selfish....you get my point.....we need to know what kind of personality he has......does he help other, is he mean to pets.... or any animals...?????:blsmoke: ​

He's tall, blonde, blue-eyed and good looking. Anyhow, that's all besides the point. Call me hypocritical but I was raised differently. I will never indulge in anything illegal with a minor. Never. Furthermore, I will kick my daughter's ass if I ever found out she was involved in anything illegal. Once she's an adult, she can feel free to do whatever she wants. So there will be no smoking dope with my 16 year old stepson or giving him plants or any of that.

Fdd, thanks bud. I've been having a lot of fun with the grow and my plan all along was to use this as a trial run and once I perfect my growbox and strategy, to order some good seed. I even have my wish list prepared already. LOL.

I am seriously jonesing to buy #1!

I started toking with my parents when i was 16 and they used to grow pounds of the shit from when i was a baby up until i was like 13. there's nothing wrong with that. Don't let yourself get brainwashed into thinking weed's bad.

Blaze, being a toker myself and growing the shit, I obviously don't think it "bad". What I DO think is that I am an adult, with 40 years worth of life experience. My brain is fully developed. I am a college grad with a masters degree (not boasting, just fact). I make a salary in the 6 figures. I consciously make the choice to get high. A kid hasn't had the benefits of life experience. A kid hasn't finishished his education, not even high school yet. Sorry but I find it irresponsible for any parent to allow or encourage their underaged child to get high. My wife and I have gotten high with her mom who's 56. Nothing wrong with that, IMHO. But getting high with a kid??? No way. Where would you draw the line? How about an 8 year old? Is that ok? How about a 2 year old? Is that ok too? Sorry but I feel passionate about this issue. A 16 year old should be focused on their education first and foremost. Again, this is all MHO.

my state 18 is THE LAW !!! my kids has some serious down time coming if it shows up on him before that. we have raised him to understand it's MEDICAL BENEFITS. i'm not stoner daddy. i have issues. i need weed. i was ok at 16, 18, 25, 30, 35. it wasn't until about 5 years ago the pain caught up. yeah sure i was smoking before then. but it was to get high and party. my whole outlook on getting high has changed since becoming medical. it's not so much a party tool as it is a get me thru. my son knows better. what happens when the school calls?

Fdd, I had no idea you are medical. Best wishes. For the wife and I, we usually toke after a long day's work. I get home, put the little one to bed by 8:30pm and spark one up. Just another way of relaxing and forgetting about all the hassles of the day. 90% of the time we get high, we'll watch a little tv, maybe indulge in the horizontal mambo and go to sleep. The other 10% of the time we do get high is when we are partying with friends. We do that maybe twice a month. We never get high while on work time. To me, that's the line I will never cross. I have no intention of jeopardizing all I've worked hard to accomplish. Except, of course, that I'm now growing the shit. LOL.
