man, i'm so pissed kuroi, bass nectra just played at temple university a few months ago.. i only found out about it the night before and didn't make it, was so pissed though.. skrillex just came around not so long ago as well..

yeah I was really skeptical of skrillex just because when i got into the scene he was so mainstream and I questioned if he had any real talent. after seeing him perform live in e zoo for the finale on day 3 I can see the guy is one hell of a showman and while hes not the best he does have some talent

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I used to be such a party kid. We went to a party every single weekend for many years. The scene literally changed my life forever. My first party was in Colombus, and I will never forget it. I was a long haired, and had just had a breakup with my entire group of friends over a girl and drugs. I met a girl down the hall who went to parties, and she invited me to go.
When I approached the building, in a very bad area, I saw a line that went on forever. Everyone had on jeans with pant cuffs bigger around than their waist,and all kinds of strange clothes. There was this throbbing bass shaking everything like I've never seen before. I was wide eyed with suprise and anticipation.
When we got in after hours of standing in line, there was a line of guys selling pills and everything else. My new friends bought me a pill, and got a few bags of glass and K, which I have never seen let alone tried before this day. I took the pill, and then my whole life changed. There were laser lights, smoke machines, and all kinds of cool decorations everywhere. I was in shock.
The E started to kick in. It was so crazy feeling, like nothing else. My God I'm sweating and squirming in my seat thinking about it right now. Everyone really cared for eachother. Hugs, kisses, massages, genuine affection. It was so crazy.
I had no idea about the music, the bass, and the amazing dancing. I stood there watching them dance all night long, I didn't even try yet. Eventually I learned, and was pretty good after a few years lol.
I want to go on and on about this, what a cool thread

Ah! Orange at the Rocket,Holloway road, fucking awesome! I recall going there, it was my first proper rave, October 1991!!! I was 13, I recall you paid your money at the kiosk then got searched, the bouncer said "you ain't 18!!" Uh oh!! Still let me in though. I went off that scene after I went Lea Valley Roller Express, Jungle sound clash! Fucking turd! Late summer 1994. Moved onto house/ garage at the Middlesex and Hearts club, Beluga's and Stringfellows too, good times. Hello Lahada.
Well, what a surprise!! Not only are you the same age but you raved in my manor !! I started at Orange in Hippodrome. Then Paradise club in Angel. I know Mddx & Herts very well.
