LED Party Cup Competition - Official Thread

Bagseed #2: No.2 is eating herself alive. I simply cannot get enough nutes to her and every day I pick up a pile of yellow leaves surrounding the party cup. She doesn't seem to be beefing up anymore nor is she triching up the way a good strain should. Smell is either non existent or overshadowed by the smell of others in flower. Although some pistils are turning there are still tons of white. I still haven't scoped her... All in all I see no real progress lately.

She looks nice and chunky, I've noticed with my Mystery seed her pistols aren't turning color but definately drying up and fading away. Since I want the buzz like all the other plants I've grown, I'm thinking one more week or 2 at the least. She is dence and rock hard, I have never had a plant like this as they were all squiwshy and airy to touch before harvest.

Dont rush her! The AF-150 is not available yet!

So the winner might have to be a bit patient, if it takes too long and the winner really wants a prize, it will be seeds... but I would wait for the light if I were you, bottom line, dont rush her

I'm in no rush, can't make them do anything any faster than they want to. As I don't expect to win, good information about the light, guess sales of these things has jumped up some. I've seen on other sites where people are really getting interested in the LED craze.

Nope, I have no intention of rushing, I was just curious about her trichs. I just scoped her and she is just about 50/50 clear cloudy... Maybe 55/45...

End, Are there specs available for the AF-150 yet? I've checked around and cannot find anything.

Awesome buds guys. I ended up with one tiny survivor which I've dried, half smoked, and stored away somewhere - no pics Nothing compared to your guys' buds. Well done puff and the unknown and well done so far to the rest.

Quick little update I have put both of my plants in the dark, looks like I'll be choppin in a couple days as most of the major fan leaves have yellowed and are fallin off. Next post will be wet weight and nug shots before drying.

Wow, Really? I wasn't expecting you to harvest for a few weeks... Are they even done or your just chopping them because of the leaf loss? My girls haven't had fan leaves for weeks. lol.

Well I checked the trich's also they were 95% milky and figured they would change pretty quick. I'll take a look at them this evening to see where they are, but yeah it's time to harvest.

Ah, that's awesome. It's real fun seeing harvest pics like this week after week. I cant wait for some photos and weights. Good luck man. Hopefully I won't be far behind.

I haven't scoped No.2 in several days however I did scope the Super Haze today and she was cloudy/some amber so No. 2 may be close as well.

Okay, I'm cut and wet weight is 59.7 grams, with the heaviest bud coming in at 7.5 grams. This has to be the stickiest bud I have trimmed yet and the sweetest smell that almost made me sick, now that is sweeeeet.
It's been fun and have enjoyed learning from all of you best of luck in your growing journeys.

Thats unreal....! Well done mate! Thinking about setting up party cups (or similar size potz) in my PC grows. I guess the size of the pot (cup) limits the height of them too...

Not really, cup size plays a roll in how the plant will grow, but strain still plays in there. Take a look at Amaximus entries, he had a sativa dominant that went for the sky. I had a bag seed indica that strecthed out also. And kept the lights at a close distance for the most part 6 to 8 inches above the plants.

I'm still amazed you harvested... And here I thought we'd be chopping around the same time but your girl really sped up this past week. Congrats on the harvest. It's funny how everyone seems to be right around that 60g wet weight and 14g dry weight... We're getting a good sampling of what a party cup can yield.

That Super Haze is still going strong, well as strong as one can go in a party cup... Last I checked she was almost 5 feet tall taking into account all those bends. lol. She bulked up nice. too bad I removed her from the competition, she is going to yield very well i think.
