Bagseed #2: Pistils are finally starting to darken and retract on the lower buds... Nothing too significant to report... She is really starting to look like hell... No fan leaves left, I'm not seeing any more trich production and generally she doesn't have a smell... What trichs she does have are almost completely cloudy... No amber, no clear... 80% of pistils are standing straight up and white as Archie Bunker... I may have to mercy harvest her... Anyone have any thoughts?



The Super Haze looks almost as bad but at least that one smells great, has a bunch of darker pistils are has really frosted up this past week. Cloudy/amber. Defintely a few days away from harvest on this one... Some random smaller buds.

the mainlined looks fantastic, the buds are looking a little fluffy for now but the hairs are all white and it looks like you got a couple weeks to go!!

You should have seen my party cup #2, the one that I put outside and I had completely given up on her, well I ended up harvesting her and smoking her, once trimmed the buds were quite nice even though she did look like hell (if you think yours look like hell... you are wrong!!), I would say dont stress about the fan leaves being gone, just ride her out man, those trichs are gonna go milky at some point!!

No point rushing, like I said earlier in the thread, the AF-150s are not available yet so it could be weeks or months before I send the prize away (I have to talk to Brent and see how long it will take, he is in Spain right now and the competition isnt over so I am gonna wait before I bug him about it) If the winner doesnt want to wait for the light, the prize will be a pack of 10 seeds TGA. (not nearly the same value, but that's what you get for being impatient!!)

Yes, Patience daniel-san... lol. That's all I really needed to hear... I've never had a plant this long without major fan leaves.... The lack of growth, smell, etc has me bugging out a bit. I feel as if someone hit the Pause button on her. Her trichs are actually almost all cloudy. Whatever clear trich there are are from new trichs being produced... By trichs alone she is almost ready. But from looks, forget it, Weeks to go. I know I read somewhere that certain strains are ready to harvest with white pistils but I've never ran across one so I'm hesitant to do anything... Patience... I'll have to keep repeating that.

I got word that my black diamond rapter 120x should be here this week my plants are a wee stretched under just the flouro's but hey its all in good fun hopefully there's room for one more in the next competition you guys bring so many smiles to the world!! congrats on all your love and effort you put into these lovely ladies!!!!

So I got a dry weight from my Pineapple Chunk, 16.9 grams and really surprized at how well it smokes too. It is smooth with no harshness and has a subtle pineapple after taste with an earthyness to it. Really glad I chose this strain to grow and I would reccomend it to anyone that likes a good couch lock buzz without the munchies. Again guys it was fun and a pleasure to have grown with you.

Awesome job Tx! I think you're leading now in the weight category! I always heard Pineapple Chunk was a nice yielder, I guess the same holds true in a party cup! I love the description, I can taste it from here! Pleasure to have grown with you as well!

I just wanted to pop my head in and let ya's know I harvested the Super Haze today...
She was still popping off some white pistils but was scoping cloudy/amber in every place that I looked, So she got the axe.
(She was fucking up my grow anyway. Good riddance you crazy 5 foot party cup sativa beast!)

Hey Tx... I'm not sure about the roots. I never checked any of the girls, I just pulled this one out after I chopped her. I'm just guessing here but I'd imagine the green is from the cup laying sideways on the bottom of my tent in nute runoff and as it dries it discolored the side of the cup, and roots, that was laying face down on the tent floor. Bagseed #2 has been treated exactly the same and her roots look fine...

Wet weight was 78g... That also includes a large portion of stem, so......... I'll have dry weight in a few days. But I pulled this one from the competition so it really doesn't matter anyway... I did take a sample... and I have to say the smoke is harsh and tastes, well, kinda like shit. I was having a tough time trying to word what it tasted like but "lemony, peppery, urinary" seems to fit well... And to boot it's a shitty sativa "clear headed" high. Whatever, Pass. I'll never grow another sativa. Mark my words. lol.

No idea.... Last I heard I thought Endo said he was going to judge it but he wasn't exactly sure what his judgment was going to be based on... That was a few months ago... I'm not sure he has given it any thought since then. Hah! I don't know how I would judge it myself... I'd like to say weight but how long it took to grow should also be taken into consideration as the longer the grow seems to equal a higher yield. At least that seems to be the case in this small sampling...

PS - As I write this some shit ass new Green Day song is playing and it is fucking terrible. I fuck hate Green Day. Arent these assholes from Arizona? Whoever said they were "punk"? God I miss the sex pistols, gbh, the exploited and real punk bands...

haha Amax, the last Sativa that I harvested smells just like cat piss when I first open the jar, my woman keeps saying, who would ever want to smoke this!! And then I grind it and man oh man the smell is to die for!!! I am really liking the Sativa high from this plant, I get really high, I feel it in my eyes, yet I am fully aware of my surroundings, no paranoia, not too fucked up, just really high and relax, I love it!!

As for the winner, well we'll get everyone to repost their end results once it's over, with pictures so it's all together, and as stated in the very first post of the thread, it will be overall best cup, quality/yield. Perhaps the poll might be a good idea to help me decide but in the end, I choose I don't want Amax to win. Just kidding. I wish I could afford a prize for everyone! You all did so well!!

it won't be so much about the yield because some might dry more than others and everybody is more or less the same, moslty by the look of the plant....

Not sure about a cat piss smellin bud...lol, but as long as you get that buzz it works for me. We swapped a couple bowls with some friends and they are beggin for some more Pineapple Chunk and the GF has put away all her Mexican and WW x BB for this stuff. As she will take a few hits and can read her books and leave me alone for hours, most of the time it's hit the bowl, read, munch, hit the bowl, read. This stuff just keeps her in the chair reading, and I like that...LOL.

Well Well, it looks like we are just waiting for you Amax? psycho has not updated in a while and in his last update (around Sept.23) he was saying that he was going to harvest pretty soon. He missed the last couple update anyway, he did very well for a first timer but he was not going to win, only going to beat me

Anyway, take your time Amax, after you harvest I will get everyone to do a recap of their cups, to make it easier for everyone to watch and so that viewers don't have to go through many pages (yes puff harvested pages ago!!!) After that's done, we will chose a winner (we?, yes we!)

once we got all the cups recaps together, I will get each one of you to chose your top 3 and the following rating for each one, you will have to send this to my private message!!:

After I get everyone's votes, I will post the results from everyone (I don't want any of you to be influenced by one or another) and we will have a winner!! ( you cannot vote for yourself )

I will get in touch with Brent and ask him if there is any other options available other than waiting for the AF-150, it sounds like it could be months before they release it... like I said before, if the winner doesnt want to wait I would be happy to ship TGA gear, up to the winner to chose. TGA gear would be 4x3D, 4xVortex and 4xdeep purple, so 12 seeds!. I am not sure about sending seeds to the US though so let's hope Brent can do something for us!! ( or Jeff!! )

Yup, Figures I'd be the one holding this shindig up but it looks like the end might be in sight...

Bagseed #2: She still looks like Lindsey Lohan after a night of doing blow with her mother but it actually seems like No.2 turned her switch back to the ON position. Starting to get a skunky smell back, pistils are receding further and changing color... Calyxes are swelling a bit more and trich production seems to be making a final push. Last scoped at about 5/90/5 clear/cloudy/amber. Maybe another week, two weeks at most?

Yeah from what eraserhead was telling me the 150 won't be ready anytime soon. Said its being redisigned from top to bottom again. Seeds are kinda risky I think. Any chance of a different light? I know theres a contest on another forum giving away the same light dawg uses.
