This is where your stubbornness makes you a knuckledragger, who are you going to vote for, Gary Johnson lol, you might as well stay home and save the gas! And who the hell are you to tell me what is best for my family dude, you are un fucking real.
the unfortunate thing Beenthere is that you really don't know what is best for you and your family. I know you will take issue with that but I have seen your posts, your reasoning, your inability to distinguish what is real from what is conjured by those who have purchased your perceptions and I can presume from that, your capablity to judge.
I am not saying that government knows best, I am saying that you have surrendered your judgement to other groups of very self interested parties without a struggle.
I just finished Potter's book "deadly spin". I suggest you read it with as open mind as you can afford and then come back and tell us that you genuinely know what is best for your family in the light of any newfound understanding you may glean from such a book.
I dare say that there is not a single thing that monied interests want for you to believe that you do not.
The oil industry wants you to believe that there is no global warming, that oil is the only resource capable of sustaining our economy and that pollution is a minor concern.
the Health insurance industry wants you to believe that we have the best health care in the world and it would be endangered by government.
that Obamacare is a government take over
Tort reform will make it all better
"free" competition is the answer to every problem
Those who do not have health care do so by choice - they buy big screen tvs instead of health insurance
The tobacco lobby wishes you to believe that second hand smoke is not dangerous
The fast food industry wishes you to believe that eating fat, sugar and salt is an American right and that there are other reasons for our obesity epidemic
And they all want you to believe that taxes are inhibiting them from offering you a job.
That lawyers and regulation and government is the bain of our existence in America.
The list is long and that list has been embedded in your conciousness through the expenditure of billions upon billions of dollars in PR.
