Using the chart below, if an Oregon worker paid a total of $235 in Oregon State income taxes, what was his approximate annual income for the year?

How Oregon State income tax rates are structured

The tax table below will show in detail the Oregon state income tax rates by income tax bracket(s). There are 3 income tax brackets for Oregon.
If your income range is between $0 and $3,050, your tax rate on every dollar of income earned is 5%.
If your income range is between $3,051 and $7,600, your tax rate on every dollar of income earned is 7%.
If your income range is $7,601 and over, your tax rate on every dollar of income earned is 9%.

OMG UncleBuck is poor. Is that your point? You feel he should have no political voice since he doesn't make much money?

You shouldn't be on a growing site because you grow crappy looking cartel weed.

My guess at 9% would be the total income of $2166.1111 paid $235 in Oregoneon taxes for the annum.

I however may be a drunk potato just attempting to "work" Microsoft Calculator ;)

Uncle Ben is a self employer treadmill salesman and producer.

The Gov says its illegal, we'd all LIKE to pay taxes on our treadmill money, but the Nazis in charge said "nein".

So fucking nein is what they shall receive!

7% of $7,600 is $532, and 7% of $3,051 is $213.57, hence to pay $235 in taxes UB was in the 7% bracket.

.07 times X = $235
X = $3,357

Hence, UB's taxable income was $3,357 assuming your tax tables are correct.

Actually you're required by the US government to to report all income including the selling of illegal drugs or any illegal activity for that matter. That's how they got Al Copone. Big sellers also get a tax evasion when busted.

Reporting your treadmill sales is as dumb as reporting your slave labour/sweatshop gains...yeah sure, we could all pay tax on all treadmills sold...if you wanna do 20 years in "buttfuck prison".

H, you are welcome to display your superior Irish math skills if you like.

If Ian got a liter of Middleton's from his dad for his Christening, and dear old dad drank 4/5 of that liter in celebration whilst Ian drank 3/5 of a liter, how many potatoes between them will cure the hangover in the marnin?
