Dude, I definitely wouldn't go unchain a fully grown pitt bull that's been isolated for 4 days! I feel bad for it, but fuck that.
Totally agree with you on that. And as far as mellow farmer walking up to ANY dog and not getting harmed, Good luck with that. I have a female pit and go walk in my backyard and see what happens. My pig Dozer would be right behind her looking for scraps. Some dogs are bad ass and not to be fucked with. Even if you think your Cesar! And my k-9's are never chained and seldom on lead in public places.

Ok I'll bite. The reason for the response is your ludicrous response. You are telling the poster, who is acting like a rational adult, to go break the law and STEAL A DOG! Best of all steal a dog that is big and will bite because it hasn't had good treatment so is probably not well-balanced after the non-socialization. Pit bulls are often tortured just like this to make them better fighting dogs.

If you value your life you do not walk into someone else's curtainment and steal their stuff. Especially stuff that will defend itself until the cops arrive and take, what is left of you, after the dog's owners and dog itself get done into custody.

You impune the OP's manhood because he has the brains to act like a rational adult? That is the reason for the post. I tried to handle it with humor. But I can be direct since you asked.

Ok so I worded my thoughts poorly. I just am very pissed at the people who think it's cool to go shoot the dog.

Let me start over.

Grow some balls and go deal with the issue by making contact with the scary illegal aliens that don't speak english. It is obvious they don't care for the dog. If you ask for it they may give it to you. Maybe you could buy it? If they don't work with you then you deal with it another way. If that means stealing, I consider it rescue, then do that if you can and by the way I did just that in the ghetto of LA and saved two wonderful pits.

Now I know the OP isn't capable of dealing with the dog himself. I still don't get why no contact with the neighbors. I am sure you could find a way to communicate that the dog is hot, confined and loud. If they are illegal they would probably not want any official contact and give up the dog willingly.

If the OP would say where he is at I will help find a rescue for the dog.

Golden Retriever, a yellow lab breed with one of the dumbest dogs known to man! Irish Setter. Not making a very good case for yourself there! But, your concern for the dog is admirable.

Please keep you pooch on a leash when not in your fenced yard. It is for the dogs safety too being on a leash in public. You never know what may happen. I really hate when people walk their dogs off leash in public. My dogs are very social but hate being approached by unleashed dogs.

Properly trained k-9's walk which is called glued to the side in dog trainining lingo. Meaning her shoulder is even with my left knee at ALL times in public. The bigger the crowd the closer she is. Dozer on the other hand is Not social and doesn't do well with strangers.

Not saying anything is wrong with goldens. They were the most popular breed in the U.S. a few years back. I have trained many. The lab in them makes them somewhat smart. Don't want to bust your balls you seem like a good person who cares for animals. Not everyone is capable of walking up to a strange dog especially, on a chain. Critical Distance of dogs. Google it first before you give advice and get a member hurt!

I worked dogs in the Army. I love them. I now have a Red Heeler and her daughter a American Foxhound, Red Heeler mix. These are both rescue dogs. The hound was trained right and walks with her shoulder touching my side. Well trained dogs make for a much closer relationship.

I hope all works out for the poor guy locked up. I will help if I can.

Dozer... I strongly recommend that no one who is not as completely sure as I am to Ever walk up to a frightened dog! I just am angry that a dog may be left hurt and afraid out of a human's fear.
