would you refuse to vote for an atheist or agnostic presidential candidate?

or would you consider voting for an atheist or agnostic presidential candidate?

keep in mind, the candidate in question may or may not satisfy your voting criteria. the real question you should respond to is whether or not you would refuse to vote for an agnostic/atheist, or whether you would consider voting for them based on your particular voting criteria.

i will spring the trap much much later down the road, if need be.

most of us might vote for one. . sadly, the rest of the country wouldnt even consider it
honestly, i'm surprised it's 3 / 0 as is now, but i think it really all depends on what part of the country is doing the voting, and i always hope that stoners would have an open mind, but i've been shocked by this group's thinking on more then one occasion ...

i've probably already voted for several athiests. i never know if who i'm voting for is religious or not. for some reason that question doesn't seem to come up in canada.

I would vote for a purple muslim ninja transgender left-handed red-headed vegan midget with herpes if he/she would run the country with the PEOPLES interests in mind and not a financial agenda...

purple transgenders is where I draw the line, I only tolerate magenta transgenders but once they get full on purple they start to get an attitude and I have to bitch slap them and say GTFO darky.

I am an atheist, it would be refreshing to have an agnostic/atheist candidate. I nominate the corpse of Christopher Hitchens.

If Obama was ever a Muslim in his life, yet claimed to be Christian in his campaign, I say he is a closet atheist. In fact that would likely be my favorite thing about him.

is the trap supposed to be because it says we would only consider or something?
i'll only lay the trap if a certain someone does a certain something at a certain sometime to a certain someone.

apparently, most here have nothing to worry about, and the responses to this are good LOL stuff.

I believe I've figured out the shape of the trap. However I haven't figured out for whom it's been set. cn

<edit> Pretty sure it's not one of these though ... smells funny. cn

i would consider to vote for the agnostic/atheist.It would be a a welcomed change.Werent most of the founding fathers atheists? If politicians could only get back to the proginators of the constitution in political principle and hold some integrity, there would be much less nonsensical fodder in the whitehouse.

The prevailing label was 'deist' which is a fancy way of saying monotheistic agnostic I believe.

Given the choice between an atheist and a theist, and all else being more or less equal, I would prefer the atheist.

One's religious beliefs don't matter to me as long as they are adherents to our Constitution and seperate their personal beliefs from their doing the bidding of their electorate.
