1 of the 3 seeds popped today. Hopefully 1 of the 2 (if not both) will pop during the night so i can plant 2 of them tomorrow in MG.

I'm new to growing as well. The plants you saw in my journal are growing in mg. They are doing great. I agree that there is something odd about your soil. I'm now subscribed so I can givecyou all the help I can. We are pretty much at the same point in growth. Hope we can help each other.

I thought the soil for the plants i had now was miracle grow. It definetly wasn't and that is what i think is causing these problems. The seeds tomorrow will be in a brand new bag of Miracle Grow. Although the first batch was mainly a fail, it was a HUGE learning experience.nice. how many days did you have them germing? and i don't know if it's exactly 'proper' or not, but i waited until the tap root was about 1/2-3/4" before i put them in the soil

I forgot I had my seeds germinating and the roots grew like three inches long. I planted them anyway and they all grew, I have them growing outside right now.

I found 1 seed on Tuesday and the other 2 on Wensday. This morning i found that the other two didn't pop yet. Only one that did was one of the 2 from Wensday. It is about a 1/4 inch long, so ill probably plant it tonight. The others may be duds, but sometimes it takes up 72 hours, although 75% are open by 36.

That wouldn't happen as I check mine every 2 hours or so. I want to get some clones from my plants and get them outdoors by early june.

I checked on my plants.The smaller one looks fine, but the bigger one was curling inward and looked really dry. Haven't watered in 2 days, so they got a nicewater. Within afew hours the leaves should be back to normal, gonna go enjoy my 420.

I got another seed to pop so I planted those outside. I found 7 seeds in an oz yesterday, so I'll germ them and plant them outdoors in a week or two when it gets warmer. I switched all the solo cups to MG. My theory is that the mulch-like soil from before held no moisture,and the roots were drying up. Hopefully this time everything goes well.

Got 7 more bagseeds germing, can i just pop them outside once the taproot shows, or do I have to grow them indoors first?

I've always read to let them grow inside for the first two weeks. That's what I'm doing as well.BBbubblegum:7330131 said:

Darn :/ I doubt i have the room for 7 more seedlings. But if i just plant them, will they grow. I mean that is how it happens in nature.

Yeah I'm sure they'll grow. I did that with two of my earlier seedlings. Sounds like your're doing a massive grow haha. Gonna be an awesome summer.

Yeah i was hoping to get a grow from Jan-early april down, but due to delays im going balls deep on my first grow.

The taproots were drying up, so i did a huge water, 4 hours later the soil is nearly dry.

Thats the issue though, I can't get FFOF around me. I'd have to order it, and i won't do that untill the plants are big enough cause i need to order their nutes too. They are doing alot better than before. Its been 48 hours and none of the 7 bagseeds popped. Kinda weird as I have had 9/10 seeds pop in my short career.

That is a tough call. You do need better light but also need a better box. Cardboard is bad with mold. But when dry it's highly flammable. I would get a new inclose. Then light. You will be under light but safer.
