I've seen the rubber maid grow boxes, but they aren't stealthy enough. I'll look into organic soil, but i have seen people use MG before, so im not sure why I'm un-able too. Also planted another germed seed. Only one more cracked, but the others probably aren't opening.

I really think you're doin' something fundamentally incorrect in the beginning stages of your seed pops. I feel like it should be a lot easier than it's turned out to be for ya, dude. I admire your resilience, though!

I completly agree, but idk what it is. I tend to fuck up everything, but once i get it down, i perfect it. I couldn't germinate for over a month with 80+ seeds, but now i got it down and have germed 11/14 bagseeds i've got which is pretty good.

One of the seedlings is coming up, and is pushing the shell off and I'm seeing green. Hopefully it will looks like a perfect seedling.

Another seed popped open, one of the seedlings has shed the shell, and it seems like by tomorrow I'll have the best seedling I've ever had (YES!)

The first picture is the new seedling. Looks amazing, the first set of leaves are coming in. The stem is nice and thick. Easily the best seedling ive had so far. The top left cup is where my 1 month old is. He will be getting pulled soon. The others are seedlings that have broken surface, but haven't been able to shed the shell or stand yet. (Weak genetics), if they don't they will be pulled and replaced. I have 3 germed seeds in a clear plastic cup, but spaced out. YES, I know the clear cup is bad. YES, i know there should never be 2 or more plants in one container. They are only there till they get to the point of the first picture. THen they will be removed seperatley and take up any weak plants. BTW, another of the 3 remaining seeds popped with a root, and another is openning. They will be put outside in a few weeks.

Maybe yourre messing with them to much. A seedling should remove its on shell whenever it is ready. The first seedling does look great though :D

The bottom right cup seedling is starting to stand up. The top right one's stem looking thin and dry so i watered all of them. Hopefully it will be up by tomorrow.

You dont need to water daily man that'll kill em. Water em once, give it a couple [2-4] days. You want the soil to be a little dry so the roots shoot out looking for water. That helps strengthen the stem too. Then you want to give'm awhile before you transplant em. If you transplant em as soon as you see some growth that will immediately stop the growth and probably kill it. Its all about patience man.

Understood, I wasnt planing on watering but the stems of the ones coming out of the ground looked like they were drying up

Another seed opened up, going to be outdoors within a few weeks. I only have 1 seed left to pop, but it is stubborn.

my fingers crossed for u man, i see a fan in the pic get that away from them, they need nothing but a little moisture (i've noticed your focused a lot on the water they get) and 1 or 2 cfl's anything else would be counter productive. gd luck bbg

I'll turn the fan off, but im worried about temps. I got 3 cfls in there.

CFL's do get warm. Mine do the same. I had two 23w 65's at about 2 inches away, they had some real heat comin off em.

BBG if you move the lights a little further away maybe 4-5 inches, you should see the heat issue clear right up IF there is one. There might not be, try it out and see what happens.

Dont worry about stretching because if they stretch, then they will be grown a bit, where the fan can be turned on low or just moved away a bit, and then you can just move the lights right back down agian.
