What the fuck is going on here, 1 week and out of 10 seeds, 1 has started to grow, 1 is stunted, the other is a fuckin mutant and all the rest appear to be dead..!!!
Oh well, experiment done with.. I'm gettin my clones and hopefully just 2 of these I'll keep under my proper lights and see waht happens.. If they come good, I'll whack em in pots and
squeeze em between the others of a totally different strain... Fucking little Bastards, i was looking forward to these little Fuckers..!!!

Yeah omite is not good for peeps, that's why you have to use it in veg to be sure, although I'm pretty sure it only has a 21 day witholding period. I can respect the natural and organic approaches but in my experience, spidermites need to be terminated with extreme prejudice and I grow hydro with synth nutes so as long as my bud is clean and safe (and it IS) there is no hippie reasons not to and it WILL work.

i dont like rockwool as a medium for starting seeds after losing the lemon stompers. im more and more starting to think they were not crushed but instead something else effected them and then they just limped over on there side and that is what caused the stems to pinch or whatever. all my previous seeds i cracked in papertowel then placed straight into soil or my watefarm and i have had 100% succes rate. this time round i did the same cracked in papertwoel then popped em straight into my hydroton in my new system and they are all popped and looking happy 100% again so im just not going to use rockwool anymore.

I'm going to give them sponge pots from sannies a roll for my next run of seeds....
Normally I just pre-soak the bean before hand just enough and then straight to dirt....let it pop by itself and not over complicate things for myself.

the trick with seeding in rockwool is this....... spoon out a chunk of the rockwool a good teaspoon size, cut up that rockwool you scooped out, lightly fill the hole again, poke your seed root it and there u go. maybe soak your rockwool in a seaweed extract (mild) before to help them once they grab, a very mild solution seems to work. a seeds root is not like the root hair on a plant, they first need to establish themselves

I just put them straight into rockwool, I didn't wait until they had a tail. I didn't do that because I thought how the fuck am I gonna get em in there with a tail..??? Without bending it or snapping it off..
Yeah i was thinking they might have been a bit too wet.. Ahh well, lucky my mate has some clones for me..!!! they'll be goin in on Sunday..!!!
If any of these seeds survive I'll be potting them and just see how it goes... Even if i get 1 to grow, can then get some clones off that..!!

Never had a probs with rockwool and seeds... Mine a pre soaked in Ph d water and they been fine... I only feed them with 5ml thru a syringe tho

Yeah I soaked mine in PH'd water too.. Also was using Rhizotonic mixed in PH'd water to spray em..
I think I must've been overwatering though.. Providing the seeds were all good..
Shit happens, as they say in the classics..!!!

hey guys heres some pics. better late than never i guess.
this is a bud off the buddha at harvest to give u an idea of what i ended up with. the buddha is a terrific smoke. my mates all liked the vk when i gave them a taste but the day after i handed out some buddha i was greated with some very big smiles they were blown away. shes real smooth and very fruity. still has that really energetic high too.
and here is a shot of my new jar collection. i actually got a fair bit of bud in the end more than i know what to do with lol
the 2 big jars and the dolmio jar and the little vegemite jar to the left are all buddha and all the others are vk.

I know... The more I thought about it, I couldn't work out how to poke a seed with a tail in there without killing em.. In hindsight, I couldn't have done worse..
They have been 8 days now and I haven't watered anything since yesterday morn..
To be honest the stress of just getting the seeds, wouldn't be done again anyway.. So even if succesful I would never be using seeds again.
I'll keep ya's posted...
