Can you make a clone from a plant that just flowered?

if its done flowering you are better off leaving some lower small buds on there, and doing a reveg

i have a box only 22" tall will that be a problem??? can i just cut off branches? or will it stop growing lol doubt that but i don't know what i should do what do you think?

also when they say 18/20 is that 18 hours of light 20 hours of dark??? reveg will give me new buds so i can like recycle the plant to give me more bud without having to plant more seeds? sorry for being a noob thanks alot

that shouldnt really be a problem. means you want to run 18-light/6-dark or 20-light/4-dark.
it might take a few extra weeks, but I would suggest doing the reveg, until you can take a clone.
then cut down the reveg and grow the clone.
and for the future, try getting another box. it can be pretty small. and just run 1 or 2 cfls so you can take a clone, before you flower the plant. then the other plant should be ready before your other is done.

so you can't grow a clone from the 1st flower it has to be after the second flower?

Sure you could leave the bud on a branch with a couple small leaves, cut that branch, stick it in a cloner with 24/0, 20/4, or 18/6 light cycle, and revert it back to veg while also growing yourself a clone, but there are tons of things that could go wrong doing it this way for the inexperienced grower and even many things that could go wrong for an experienced grower. I suggest sticking to tried and true methods and do exactly like Vilify said. If you're done harvesting (hopefully you kept some leaves on it!) switch the lights to a veg cycle, let the plant veg until it has some new growth big enough to be cloned, and take that. On the plus side, as soon as you do take your clones from the reveged plant, give it a few days to make sure your plant wasn't harmed to much and is continuing to grow, and then switch it to flower while your clones are in veg. Now go back and forth between the two harvesting when the plants are ready. Congrats, you just increased your yield, doubled your total amount of harvest opportunities, and cut down wait time in half.
