Great job Tb!!!!!!!! Sounds like you have had more time to work on this lately instead of stressful things at the job
Sort of, since I work at home and my desk is on the deck across from my chamber, I stare at it all day whenever I have a spare minute and dream of how to improve it... I think I really like my new hobby- it definitely gives me pleasure, and I enjoy the challenge and learning experience it is providing. And I know it's only a matter of time till I get some awesome tomatoes and other thingsGreat job Tb!!!!!!!! Sounds like you have had more time to work on this lately instead of stressful things at the job
Thanks Hammer- that's good to know... I read some bad stuff, saying even a long time after curing the gasses were coming in through people's walls- but I also realize some people are overly cautious with no scientific backing to their claims, and I'd venture to think fish are a good litmus test... I think I am already settled on my exterior insulation idea. I realized with my current setup even insulated but without added cooling, and the temps being what they are here, I will never get much cooler than the ambient temps, and they are 95 on hot days. It's just not acceptable. I considered a swamp cooler idea, but the high relative humidity also negates any benefits there as well. I figure with good insulation, and my small 1/5hp chiller- it won't take much electric, and will give me absolute control on the rootzone temps, and we all know I am a control freak when it comes to aero... heheTB just to let you know spray foam once it`s hard leaves no toxic effect i have used it on the back wall of my salt water tank to make a artifcial reef growing corals on it and keeping fish and never had a issue or toxic effect..........300 gallon tank with a 100 gallon sump
The thing you need to watch is the throw of the Tefen nozzles, The mist isn't pushed very far into the chamber. I still haven't tested the DIG on really short cycles.I also did a test of all the different cloud tops misters and the red ones are best. In a side by side comparison to the biocontrols there was no competition, the cloud tops were much better
..........
I'll also test the purple dig nozzles Mike and now r0m are impressed with.
Yes, salt water fish are a really good test for toxins, I think knowing the brand of the spray in foam would be useful, each manufacture has a specific formulation.I'd venture to think fish are a good litmus test...
oh yeah.... my handle.... is in reference to E-40 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Flamboyant ) by definition means loud, boisterous, colorful character. actually is the opposite of me. i came up with that when i was REALLY faded in like 1997. chat rooms had just started, but evidently someone was already using "MrFlamboyant", so i cut out the "a" at the end. i have been all over the internet using it everywhere i went, so changing it would be too much hassle... but for some reason people automatically think homo. but i really could care less, cuz i know whats up. so no harm in flippin me shit, i can take all you got bro! but dont dish it out if you cant take itI can see the dole pineapple plantations across the water on the island of Molokai out my window... As for the rest of your statement I'll just pass it by as you being a little faded and not quite making sense? lol... With a name like yours I can only guess what you like in the way of porn.. Perhaps it starts as a nice game of "pin the tail on the donkey" and quickly degrades from there? hehehe -Hope you know I'm only saying this for laughs and not really giving you crap bro...
Yes, but worried it will get condensate and be a wet spot for roots. I believe chilling the whole pod from outside it may be the best idea, especially since it needs better insulation...TB, Have you thought about using a heat exchanger inside your pod after you insulate? Im assuming you have a chiller that you have been using to reduce the temps of you nutes?
Well as just explained, I messed up the roots the other day. The heat is causing them to grow very slowly anyway (or so I guess that's my problem). That's why I want to address the issue.oh yeah.... my handle.... is in reference to E-40 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Flamboyant ) by definition means loud, boisterous, colorful character. actually is the opposite of me. i came up with that when i was REALLY faded in like 1997. chat rooms had just started, but evidently someone was already using "MrFlamboyant", so i cut out the "a" at the end. i have been all over the internet using it everywhere i went, so changing it would be too much hassle... but for some reason people automatically think homo. but i really could care less, cuz i know whats up. so no harm in flippin me shit, i can take all you got bro! but dont dish it out if you cant take it
